  “We had a fantastic meal at Zizzi Lincoln! We ordered the pesto rosso, chicken prosciutto salad, and the wagyu royal pizza – all absolutely delicious. The food was beautifully cooked and packed with flavour, and we shared everything so we could try each dish – a brilliant way to enjoy the menu. The drinks selection was great, and the service really stood out – the staff were friendly, attentive, and very efficient. If I had to be ultra-critical, the restaurant could benefit from a deep clean – the decorative trees were dusty and the toilets could be fresher – but this didn’t spoil our experience. Overall, top marks for the food and service. We’ll definitely be returning! August 2026 Visited Zizzi Lincoln again and had another really enjoyable meal. The pizzas were excellent – freshly cooked, crisp bases and plenty of topping. We also tried a couple of the desserts, which were very good, and finished off with a lovely coffee. Everything was nicely presented, the portions were generous and the whole meal felt good value. Another good experience at Zizzi Lincoln and we’ll definitely be back. 5 stars from us.”

  “The atmosphere was lovely and so was our food! Really enjoyed the six layer lasagna and the nemesis chocolate cake with gelato, as well as our mocktails. It wasn’t very busy when we walked in so we were given a big booth table which was great. Above all the staff service was exceptional throughout, right down to the complimentary hot chocolates we were given after paying our bill! Thank you to the lovely staff at Lincoln Zizzi :)”

  “Kiera was great. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Seemed she was being ordered around by a taller person .. bluntly saying.. 'Service!' The food was ok ... and in my opinion over priced. For me the atmosphere wasn't great, my wife complained that the wooden chair was not comfortable and other diners were too close by. Whilst it felt relatively authentic, it wasn't comfortable and dint feel like the dining experience matched the price of the food. I wouldn't return due to price and atmosphere/ comfortable/ surroundings and it didn't really have a cohesive team feeling, more like a worker and boss type feel.”

  “See below the same post stands as not having enough front of house staff!!! Waitress today did a great job and stayed on top of everything but it really shouldn’t be one persons responsibility!!! Get some more staff!!! Food great 😊 Previous post below Perfect food today, service good, but would be great if they put more than one member of staff front of house, it’s not fair on them, but the girl today did a great job nonetheless the new cherry cooler is lush!!!”

  “Food was very nice, I would recommend. The service was a bit slow, I think they forgot about us as we were sat down for nearly half an hour before we eventually flagged someone down to take our order. Think must’ve just been a bad day as have not had this issue before.”

  “We had a lovely lunch today at Zizzi on Brayford Quays. We hadn’t booked, but were warmly welcomed by a friendly member of staff who offered us a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. As it was a beautiful, sunny day, we chose to sit outside and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere by the waterfront. The outdoor seating area was clean, spacious, and well laid out, so it didn’t feel cramped at all. Our drinks order was taken promptly, and we were given plenty of time to browse the menu without feeling rushed. We ordered a full three courses, and every dish was excellent. Starters included garlic bread with cheese, garlic bread with cheese and balsamic onion, and bruschetta — all delicious and a great start to the meal. For mains, we had the Carbonara and the Sticky Pig pizza, both of which were absolutely spot on — beautifully presented, generous portions, and full of flavour. Desserts (fudge cake, nemesis, and honeycomb cheesecake) were just as impressive and thoroughly enjoyed. A couple of lovely touches really stood out — we were given complimentary paprika pasta crisps after being seated, which were so tasty, and complimentary hot chocolate shots when paying the bill, which was a really nice way to end the meal. The service from Anya and Charlotte was exceptional throughout — both were incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating. We never had to ask for anything, as they were always one step ahead, even replacing cutlery between courses without prompting. It was also really thoughtful that they checked directly with my 12-year-old about parmesan when she returned from the ladies as she wasn't at the table when the food arrived, this made the whole experience feel very personal and considerate. The restaurant (including the toilets) was clean and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. We had such a great experience and would definitely visit again.”

  “I'll be honest I wasn't expecting to much after going to places like Ask Italia and pizza express. But this was really nice Service was top notch and food was really nice as well. Atmosphere was really nice as you could see the food being prepared. I would really recommend this place and it's staff, thank you”

  “We went here on Saturday for lunch and, considering it was Valentine's Day, managed to get a table easily. Service was great- friendly & helpful, and couldn't fault the food. Highly recommend.”
