Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the curries, with the lamb Bhuna and the Adraki Lamb singled out as some of the best they have had, the meat described as tender. Close behind are the starters, especially a spiced chicken starter with curry leaves, ginger and garlic, along with poppadoms, naan breads and the Lal Toofan beer. Several mention generous portions, with leftovers taken home, and one regular says food arrives together even for a group of 13. Service draws mixed reports. Some call the staff attentive, while one reviewer found most of the team unfriendly, two bordering on rude, and another felt rushed out. Flavour is the main complaint: the butter chicken, aubergine curry, Sajon Special and South Indian garlic chicken were called bland, and one diner said the server simply promised to tell the kitchen. A few found the lighting bright, the car park tight, and the gulab jamun small for its price. One reviewer suggests booking in case it is busy.

“Great curries and lovely starters. Naan breads are very good. Last time I visited over a couple of years ago I was a little disappointed but this time it was all lovely. Touching but not quite 5 stars. Well worth an evening out if you fancy a curry. The Lal Toofan beer is quite refreshing and worth a slurp or two.”

“We've passed this restaurant a few times when visiting family and noticed it because of the unusual location. Today we finally gave it a try and are glad we did! We got a range of starters and mains between us, certainly enough food to fill us up, and some of the best Indian food we have ever had. I had the Adraki Lamb, quite a spicy one, and probably the best lamb curry I have tasted, the meat was all really tender. Portions were large enough to share, and we had some to take home after as well. Unfortunately we were just too full to even look at the dessert menu, but we'll certainly try them next time.”

“I have eaten here many times over the years and it's consistently great. The staff are always very attentive and give great service. I have been in groups up to 13 and with just my partner and they have always brought out the food together. The food itself is great, always very fresh, hot and the menu has something for everyone and has the usual classics as well as some new things to try. Everything is immaculately clean, from the tables to the glassware and even the gents. Only slight issue is the car park is tight and on a busy evening can be a bit of a squeeze”

“As a total MACH fan as soon as I had seen the promo for the chicken 6️⃣5️⃣ starter I had been excited to try it! Genuinely my fav Indian starter I have had anywhere. So full of flavour & the chicken succulent /cooked to perfection tonight (compliments to the kitchen/chef) thank you 🙌. As per the description “covered in spiced rice flour” it definitely has a nice kick but doesn’t detract from the flavour of the curry leaves ; ginger & garlic which all come through - all perfectly balanced/compliment each other perfectly. Delicious 😋 I was looked after by a lovely young lady , service with a gorgeous smile, very attentive. Having ordered a wine spritzer she actually checked with me whether I would prefer soda or lemonade (which I had forgotten to mention & as I really don’t like lemonade as too sweet for me personally) I was very grateful for the ask❣️thanks MACH I will be right back for this starter soon as I can 🙌☺️ Also fantastic to see this restaurant with atmosphere/plenty of tables taken on a Wednesday night early doors ☺️”
