Customer Review Summary
Curry is the dish reviewers dispute most. One diner calls it to die for and thanks the chef, while others describe a Thai green curry like mucky water, curry and gravy like gloop, and one beef curry runny with another thick with powder in the sauce. Fried rice splits just as sharply: one reviewer calls it excellent, another says the special fried rice made a husband sick, and a third found hairs in the chicken fried rice. Praise centers on a big portion of chicken balls, good spring rolls, and a person at the till who detailed the ingredients in each dish for a diner with an allergy. Complaints also include a mixed starter that arrived mostly cold, with near-empty spring rolls and meatless salt and pepper wings, plus a shop reviewers call dated and unswept outside. One vegetarian was served a meat mini pancake roll.

“inedible food. Chips hard and under cooked, special fried rice had a weird taste and made my husband sick, noodles over cooked and slimy, curry and gravy were like gloop. Took 1 hour and 50 mins to deliver. What a waste of £37 I would avoid like the plague”

“Just recommended this Chinese to my parents. They had decided to treat themselves as for once in a very long time they had received a bit of good news. So my dad ordered it and fetched it took it home. About 3 minutes away probably 2 tbf. Sat down to it straight away and mixed starter was mostly cold the salt and pepper wings had no meat some prawn toast clap cold two spring rolls were just about empty of any filling. And the house special fried also just warm and not far off flat cold also. Totally deflated after looking forward to a nice takeaway for once. I am so pissed as I recommended it as I used to use it as my go to Chinese when I was living local to it... £16.00 wasted on a scrappy and cold mixed starter and a Luke warm at best hsf rice.... Never try it out if your thinking of ordering from it. Go elsewhere trust me you could end up as disappointed as my parents.”

“Had a takeaway with Canton Takeaway on a Saturday night in mid-January. The lady behind the till was very good. She was able to detail which exact ingredients were used in each dish, which was very important for one of us with an allergy. She was very knowledgeable and we were quite impressed. The food good prepared quickly and was really good. The prices were very competitive (£36 for a party of 4) and there was plenty of food for all of us. Will recommend without hesitation.”
