Customer Review Summary

Breakfast is the main draw, with the full English at the center: reviewers describe it arriving hot and freshly cooked, with eggs done as requested, a big meaty pork sausage, bacon and plenty of real butter with the toast. One misses black pudding. Close behind are poached eggs with avocado on toast, one pairing it with sweet chilli, and the paninis, including a signature panini and an Italian style one, served with side salads. A jacket potato with homemade coleslaw and an avocado and feta salad also get praise. On the drinks side, one diner calls the cappuccino the best they have had in Leeds, while another found theirs not hot enough and would ask for it hotter. The honey coffee and a freddo coffee that recalled a holiday in Greece are also singled out. Staff are described as friendly, kind and efficient, and several mention the relaxed atmosphere and outdoor seating. One reviewer notes ordering happens at the bar, and another says the food came quickly once they had ordered and paid there.

“You have to order at the bar and pay. Once I realised this and ordered the food came quickly with friendly service. Seems like a family run place. With lots of attention to detail and professional at the same time. I ordered the full English breakfast with hash browns which came nice and hot and freshly cooked with perfect eggs how I had requested with the yolk nice and soft. Plenty of good quality tomatoes sauce available. Only thing missing was black pudding. The big meaty pork sausage and bacon made up for that though. Cappuccino was good although not that hot so would ask for it to be hotter next time. I was hungry after being at the gym and this filled me up nicely with the toast including plenty of real butter packets. Prices were average and good value considering that the breakfast was cooked fresh and hot and filled my plate with good quality sausage and bacon. Will go again when I need a good breakfast.”
