About Best Cuts
Best Cuts is a barber shop on Woodsley Rd in Leeds, operating on a walk-in basis with no appointment needed. Two barbers work at the same time, so more than one customer can be seen at once. Tea or coffee is offered while people wait for a haircut. The shop opens daily, giving people a consistent option whenever a trim is needed rather than a fixed weekly slot to plan around.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the haircut itself, with several saying the barbers deliver exactly the style asked for and one calling the cuts perfect every visit. Others describe the barbers as friendly, good-tempered, and quick, and one says they cut black men's hair really well. One parent describes a patient, kind barber getting through a four-year-old autistic son's first professional haircut despite a mini meltdown, with an excellent result. The criticism sits in three negative reviews: a rushed cut with attitude when adjustments were requested, a lazy and careless job, and a cut that took too much off the top without the barber asking how much. One reviewer also reports that a barber replied to hearing they were from Poland by saying there are too many Polish people in the UK. Another reviewer was given a free tidy-up from the empty second chair while waiting for a son, and a regular says tea or coffee is offered whenever there is a wait.

“They rush my haircut and when I ask to cut a little off the top. He did it straight away without asking me how much to cut off, he cut off too much”

“I was looking for a good barber in Leeds and finally I found it. He is a good-tempered professional baber. He exactly did what style I wanted. The price is also so fair for the service you get.”

“A few years ago I went there for a hair cut - the guy who did it asked me where I am from and I responded that Im from Poland - to which he responded "Too many Polish people in the UK". Its quite ironic hearing that from someone who wasnt even born in Europe in the first place. Avoid like the plague.”

“Really good barber. And cuts black guys really well”

“By far the worst barber experience I’ve ever had. The barber had a terrible attitude and clearly didn’t care how the haircut looked. He just rushed through it like he wanted to get it over with, without paying any attention to whether it suited me or not. When I asked for adjustments, he showed even more attitude. The result? I now look ridiculous — like a complete fool — thanks to a lazy and careless job. Absolutely unacceptable”
