  “I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated today after being a loyal customer for many years. I returned to discuss a previous set of French nails that had been done here because I wasn’t happy with the finish. Instead of listening to me, I was repeatedly told in front of other customers that the nails were “not done here” and that they would “never do French tips like that.” Being repeatedly questioned like that made me feel as though I was being accused of lying. The whole experience was humiliating and caused me to have a panic attack in the salon. No customer should be made to feel that way. It wasn’t about wanting free nails—I simply wanted my concerns to be listened to and treated with respect. Although I did receive an apology afterwards and was offered half-price nails, the damage had already been done. The way I was spoken to and made to feel has completely put me off returning. Customer service is about how you make people feel, and unfortunately, this experience has ensured I will never be coming back.”

  “Always uncomfortable about going to salons but now love my monthly treat to Diamond Nails. Because of the nature of my job I always have acrylics. I normally go for a polish with sparkle but they were more than happy to put a French flag on for a recent trip. I adore the hand massage at the end! I can either book or walk-in with no walk-in I walk in feeling ugly and leave like a princess!”

  “Just left this salon for the very last time - had an expensive Shellac experience last weekend and within a week one of the nails has lifted and needed to be replaced. The lady owner huffed and puffed and was clearly discussing me with her colleagues which is simply rude. Tired of paying good money for sulky service.”

  “Lovely people, very friendly, very efficient and take an interest in the customer, remembering their chosen colours etc …they transform my hands and feet with beautiful gel nails and a pedicure..won’t go anywhere else!”

  “Had a gel manicure. I seriously question the level of hygiene In this salon, nothing looks or feels clean and the lady removed my gel polish by scraping it off using her own finger nails, so any bacteria under her nails then scraped onto my nails and vice versa - absolutely disgusting, this is what professional manicure tools are for. Will not be returning.”

  “Staying loyal to Diamond Nails. They are so friendly, remember your name and make conversation. I first went to Diamond Nails 13 years ago. Still love going in there and they have welcomed my 3 year old who wants to be like mummy and have her Nails done. My mum also travels from Leicestershire because they are so friendly.”

  “First visit for pedicure was 100% 2nd time female done it ,wasn't great ,half time less then fist time, cut with clipers haven't even filed some nails, feet left dry. Shame as was great the first time. Also staff talking they own language which made me feel awkward and unwelcoming.”

  “Visited as a walk in on a Friday evening. Very friendly staff who saw us right away. My little one (who is 3) had her nails painted and they were great with her, she really enjoyed picking out her colour and sitting in the chair to be pampered! The staff were chatting to her and made her feel so welcome and special. I had a manicure and shellac, which was quick and fantastic! The staff, again, were great, but so were the other customers who interacted with my little one about her nails, which made it an even better experience for her. Prices were brilliant for my nails. We will definitely visit again. Thank you for making my daughter's first nail visit special for her.”
