“Called in for a bite to eat, of course, opted for the fish and chips, as the photo shows, quite a good portion. The fish was tasty, though the batter was a bit heavy, crisp and yet still tasty. If that makes sense, as it had to be cut through with the knife, maybe that's the way batter is supposed to be!!?, but not what I've had over the many years of enjoying fish. The chips are really big, and I can say in my opinion perfect. It was served with peas and curry, the peas had a slight taste of garlic from them, which was different. The curry tasted sweet, and was delicious as a extra. The atmosphere was quiet, though it was early afternoon, and the staff very polite, and not the type to keep asking if everything was ok. All in all a very good place to visit, and experience.”
