  “Three of us had dinner at Scott's twice, choosing from the two course menu. The first evening went well. On the second evening they did not present us with the two course menu: we had to ask for it. I ordered bread which never arrived and broccoli which never arrived. We had a bit of a mix up over anchovies. They could have done better. Having said that, the staff were delightful, cheerful and generally helpful. Maybe the restaurant is not used to being busy. At then of our meal the manager Gianni generously offered us a discount on the food and a free drink. The food was very good and we went out happy customers.”

  “We had the most wonderful evening celebrating our friend’s birthday at Scotts Largs. The food was outstanding from start to finish, and the service was warm, attentive and faultless throughout.Every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the atmosphere made the occasion feel really special. Having visited several restaurants within the Scotts group, this has become our favourite so far.Thank you to the whole team for helping make our friend’s birthday such a memorable celebration. We can’t wait to return.”

  “Tried to get some coffee and cake here today. We ordered 3 coffees, 1 tea and 2 pieces of cake. There were several other people sitting outside and a number of people inside however it was certainly not packed. Other people had ordered food and coffee which arrived but there seemed to be no logic to it. Another customer had a hot roll arrive 10-15 min before his coffee. At various points other customers were heard complaining about the wait. We waited over 30 minutes for our coffee to arrive. Twice we spoke to staff to ask where our order was, each time met with the response of "the bar is very busy and we are working through orders". We were at the point of giving up and asking for a refund when it finally arrived. The coffee itself was OK, albeit a bit on the tepid side, and the cake was nice enough, but waiting over 30 min for 4 hot drinks is really a bit much. Not sure I would come back if this is the level of service to expect.”

  “Tasty food and lovely staff in really nice surroundings. We sat out on the terrace as we had our dog with us (and he was made very welcome with a fresh bowl of water and a special doggy menu) . Easy to book online, the two course lunch was good value.”

  “Went there today for my mum's birthday and had a lovely meal. The prices are great and the food is incredible. Each server was so kind and helpful too! I would definitely recommend coming here as it's one of the best restaurants I have been to in the area.”

  “This place has the best server ever! On only my second visit here with my mum, Hedvika remembered our order perfectly. She is always incredibly polite, attentive and efficient. The food is great and the waiting staff are lovely. Hedvika is in a class of her own. Absolutely brilliant!”

  “We arrived mid-afternoon and were met with a lack of welcome—no smile or greeting from the staff. The table we chose was still cluttered with dirty dishes from previous diners, and despite waiting 15 minutes, no one came to clear it. I had to ask for assistance, and although a waitress eventually removed the dishes, she didn’t clean the table. We had to place our order at the bar. The fish and chips were overly oily and lacked any real flavour. The grilled seabass with vegetables was a very small portion and similarly bland. Overall, the service was poor and the food disappointing. This location is a far cry from their Troon branch, which offers a much better experience in every respect. Attached is an image showing the table left dirty for over 40 minutes, with a napkin on the floor that remained untouched for the same duration. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant.”

  “My partner and I have visited all of Scott's restaurants, we have never left any feeling disappointed, the friendly staff make us feel welcome and the service is impeccable. The food is always delicious and the vibe relaxing and pleasant. The decor in all of the Scott"s restaurant's is very nice. We always thoroughly enjoy our visits and look forward to returning. Thanking all staff from the welcome walking through the doors to the table service, we shall return soon. Lynn and Kenny”
