About Ling Di Long

Ling Di Long is a Chinese restaurant at 13 Bridge St in Lampeter, with a sit-in dining room for eating on site. The kitchen cooks Chinese dishes, and chips are served alongside them, so a main and a familiar side arrive together on the same table. Food comes out within minutes of ordering, which suits a quick sit-down meal. The decor is dated, and the emphasis is on the food and how quickly it arrives.

Customer Review Summary

Positive reviewers describe food that is consistent, hot and tasty, with takeout staying piping hot for an hour or two. One group of five was served straight away and waited around fifteen minutes for a Friday night takeaway, and one diner praised a friendly server who looked after them all night.

“Check your takeaway before you leave as they had missed items off our order, also food was bland and overdone. Won't be going there again.”
  • Sam Standerwick
“The worst food I have ever had in my life, to the point I feel ill. Chips tasted a week old, ribs were broken bones and the BBQ sauce was jelly. Even my dogs walked away. My partner said his was awful his chips also tasted old and his ended up in the bin. I thought I would open the prawn crackers and they were brown. The young lady on the desk was lovely, the restaurant was filthy. Avoid like the plague. Red flag when I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. Paid £3 parking up the street to get this food too. Complete rip off.”

“Good food and service. The restaurant is a bit grubby and dated decor.”
  • Louise Evans
“Was on holiday and staying local, so first time visiting. Where were 5 of us having a takeaway on a Friday night in half-term week, we didn't pre order just went down and got served straight way with with a 15 minute wait for our order. The restaurant looked nice and the staff were friendly, the food was hot and everything tastes good. We would recommend and would revisit if in the area again.”
  • Rob
“Food was amazing, I come here pretty often and it’s always consistent. Takeout stays piping hot for an hour or two meaning it’s just as fresh having it back home.”
