“First time in Okome. Simply put, we love Asian food but in particular Japanese. This place is excellent, extremely authentic food and fresh fresh fresh. A taste sensation. We tried various dishes from Sashimi to Ramen to Gyoza, everything was outstanding. My new favourite place and I will be back over and over.”

“First time here and loved it. Got things to try that i didn't know and I was pleasantly surprised as it was all great tasting food. The staff were brilliant even though there was a small mistake in the order. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.”

“First time to Okome and it did not disappoint. Friendly attentive staff. Lovely clean, warm and inviting interior. The menu choices were quite extensive. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu. We ordered starters and mains with drinks and the cost was so reasonable. Efficient service and the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Large servings too. Lovely little touch with the self-service cutlery/chopsticks and soy sauce, wasabi and dipping dishes on the tables. We will be back soonest. Arigatou, Okome for the great Japanese experience in Kilmarnock! Ps forgot to take snaps of the food!! Next time.”
