About The King & Castle
The King & Castle is a pub on Station Dr in Kidderminster, set inside a railway station on the Severn Valley Railway. The bar serves Bathams bitter alongside rotating cask and keg beers, so the draught selection changes rather than staying fixed to one list. Trappist bottled beers are available too, for drinkers who would rather choose a bottle over a draught pour. Live musicians also play at the pub. Dogs are welcome, so owners can bring their pets along when they stop in.

“Best pub in Kidderminster. Bathams bitter and a very knowledgeable and friendly staff rotating cask and keg beers. Nice selection of Trappist bottles too for the adventurous. Plus the beautiful setting in a GWR steamtrain station. 10 out of 10. X”

“Good pub on Severn Railway Station serving excellent beer. Didn't eat there cannot comment on the food.”
- Robert Warriner
“Popped into the king and castle after a lovely day at the Severn valley autumn steam gala. Visited before and experienced absolutely brilliant hospitality, however on this occasion we came across a bar man that was rude, unwelcoming and told us to leave. This judgement was unfair and an unpleasant welcome.”
- Ryan Williams
“Walked in after a nice visit before to find a very hostile bar man, grey hair, rude. Would not recommend.”
