  “Definitely do not go to Julie’s cafe last time I went was a couple of month ago and it’s extremely expensive and the food was poor defo do not recommend if u want a decent breakfast I would say go cafe culture or frydays in Kettering town”

  “My £4:30 coffee was out of the cup in a carrier bag just eat said down to the shop, the shop said was down to just eat no offers to replace my hot drink and the ignorant person who answered the phone hung up on me ... im disgusted with the custom service”

  “We’ve been coming here regularly as a family and have always had good experiences, which is why this visit was disappointing. I ordered my usual BBQ chicken strip wrap with salad. Everyone else’s food was fine, but mine tasted slightly off. I can’t say for sure why, it may have just been me, but it didn’t taste right to me, so I politely asked if I could swap it for sausages instead. I was more than happy to pay for the change. Unfortunately, the woman serving us became very defensive, insisting the salad was fresh and that nothing was wrong. I made it clear I wasn’t criticising the food or trying to be difficult, it just didn’t taste right to me personally. She eventually brought the sausages, but the interaction felt rushed and unfriendly. When my husband went to pay, she continued to explain that the salad was fresh and suggested the panini machine may have changed the taste. She also claimed that I hadn’t finished my wrap on a previous visit, which wasn’t true, I’ve always finished my meals here, which is why I ordered the same thing again. To be clear, we still paid for the extra sausages and never expected anything for free. This wasn’t about getting a refund or causing an issue, it was purely about customer service. If the food doesn’t suit someone and they’re polite and willing to pay for an alternative, there’s no need for defensiveness. That said, the man working there (possibly her husband) was very kind and polite, which is why I’m not leaving a one-star review. You never know what someone is going through, and kindness costs nothing. We came as a family to enjoy a meal together, and while we were polite throughout, the attitude we received made us uncomfortable. I wouldn’t have written this review if it weren’t for the way the situation was handled.”
