  “This is a pretty good location, located in the centre of Kendal. I really like the building; they’ve taken a great deal of care to make the restaurant look nice and welcoming, both inside and out, so it doesn’t feel like a generic chain, with the limestone building and outdoor seating area. The staff were friendly, and the wait for the food was reasonable considering how busy they were. I went for the Meatball Italliano pizza on a Gluten-Free Romana base, with some dough balls on the side. The pizza was cooked well, the meats had nice flavouring, and the quantity of the toppings was good. I wasn’t a huge fan of the dough balls as the garlic butter was way too runny; I miss the fresh one they used to have before making the menu changes! I did find it to be a little pricey, even with offers available, and wouldn’t say it was great value for money, but regardless, I would strongly consider returning if I find myself in Kendal in the future. I had a nice time.”

  “Quite busy when we arrived. No menus on table and I do appreciate we were a larger party - though had pre booked. Food was yummy but took a while for it to come out. Would visit again”

  “Me and My friend came here for dinner Saturday Night. Great experience. Very polite staff, good food and efficient. We didn't have to wait long for our food which was great after coming back from climbing Scarfell Pike ! Another good visit to a pizza express.”
