  “It was great service and food was great. Had a bad beer given and Sophie had no problem at all changing it as well as being really helpful with the needs for our little ones. All staff seemed super friendly and helpful.”

  “As it was early dinner when we came it wasn’t too busy. We had a booth table which was nice for sitting with children. Wendy and Izzy were the two lovely ladies who ensured we were seen to and helped us with a mix when I ordered the wrong pudding for my son Saved us a meltdown. Lovely service and lovely food”

  “I really enjoyed the English breakfast at Toby Carvery Huddersfield. There was a great selection of fresh, tasty food, and everything was well cooked. The all-you-can-eat breakfast is excellent value for money, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying full English breakfast. I'll be coming back again!”

  “Our server, Wendy, was delightful - prompt to get drinks sorted and ask if we were eating carvery or something from the menu. Always had a smile and a pleasant comment for us. The atmosphere was pleasant and we could happily eat and share family conversations. Sadly, although the choice of vegetables was good, most of the ones I choose were only just warm, certainly not hot. The turkey was very tender. The rest of my family enjoyed the meats, Yorkshire puddings, potatoes, but again found the vegetables to be warm not hot. Desserts were delicious and generous portions.”

  “On our visit,we were greeted with a lovely smile.I explained that we needed a table in a quiet area as we we're celebrating a meeting of cousins seeing each other for the first time in 40yrs. The young lady placed a reserved note on the table of choice in a bright area. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The staff were all friendly and very accommodating. We gave thanks on the way out .”

  “Had a lovely meal at Toby Carvery today. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice and everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. The carvery was well stocked, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. A special mention goes to Rebecca, our waitress, who provided outstanding service. She was attentive, polite, and always had a smile on her face, making sure we had everything we needed. Her friendly attitude and professionalism really made our dining experience even more enjoyable”

  “The manager there. Very rude. Thinks it’s ok to walk away from a customer says. OH MY GOD. LOUDLY. because said customer didn’t want to hear about a AI robot that answers the phone. We ordered a celebration cake for our grandson. On the phone. He said they don’t do cakes ( but we could order dessert) we paid the bill and left. We have used this Toby on many occasions. And never been spoken too like this. I did get his name and will be reporting him.”

  “These are the facts Food is tasty and there is certainly enough veggies as you can go back for seconds. But, as always, the food is never hot. Warm is the usual. Tip: delve deeper into the vegetable dishes to get hotter. Staff attended as required. Atmosphere was good but the gents there had was a sad letdown. Both seats were broken. This was the same months ago when I visited. Perhaps men don’t have a need to sit to pee, but surely these should be fixed quicker than this. Poor show. (I told staff, who said it’s unusual for repairs to take ages to get done).”

  “Food was good as always, slight issue though. Just as I was getting to the eggs the server/chef put the last 2 eggs in too good to go box's. I said have you got more eggs he said you'll have to wait 5 mins. Now correct me if I'm wrong but too good to go is to prevent food waste. Those eggs were not too good to go, they were good enough to serve to full price paying customers. Anyway I know it's not the end of the world but him not thinking properly caused me to wait 5 mins. Have a word and tell them to be more mindful please. Maybe dish up the too good to go box's IF there's any leftovers. I thought it was really cheeky. So did the people I was holding up in the queue”

  “On the whole an enjoyable meal. The dining area is well presented and welcoming and the staff were friendly and attentive. It was a busy Sunday afternoon, it was fully booked and there was lots of families but the staff coped well with the demand and remained efficient. I think the plates were cold as the food went cold very quickly. The gravy was lukewarm too. The gents toilets stink of urine and in the cubicles looked atrocious, however they had made an attempt to beautify the sink area with some small plastic plants (and it was a nice touch to be fair) however, there was no hand soap in the dispensers. Some of the areas near the serving area looked dirty (skirting, doors and general decoration) Overall, it was ‘ok’, it didn’t excel at anything really, and it was inoffensive.”
