About Natural Fit

Natural Fit is a spa and health club in Hove, set in a converted church building on St Agnes Church, with wood used throughout the design. The spa area has a pool, a hydro pool, a steam room and a sauna. The gym has dedicated areas for weights and machines, and the class timetable includes Pilates and boxing. Personal trainers run PT sessions, and new members get an induction session. Monthly membership covers the spa, gym and classes, so members can visit as often as they like. A bar and café serves snacks, smoothies and coffee, and the lounges give members a place to work or chat. Members can also fill a flask with chilled still or sparkling water.

Customer Review Summary

Personal training is what members praise most, with trainers helping one reviewer correct technique to prevent injury, another focus on specific goals, and another credit PT and Pilates sessions for a stronger core and the end of back pain. Close behind is the spa, where the pool, hydro pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna are described as relaxing and a blessing for achy bones. Classes such as Pilates, yoga, TRX, boxing and circuits are also singled out. Reviewers call the staff friendly and the converted church beautiful, and say the changing rooms stay clean and tidy. Cost is the recurring complaint. Reviewers call it spenny and high priced, and one couple reports the monthly fee rose six months after joining, on top of a large joining fee. The same reviewer found the classes repetitive and the pool too small for more than a few swimmers. Another describes a sales call that felt like a vetting process and dodged the question of pricing. Among the small touches, members can fill a flask with chilled still or sparkling water.

“I just wanted to leave a review of my PT with Ivy at Natural Fit. I have been finding the sessions very helpful and have made some real strides in getting over my resistance to resistance training. Ivy has been excellent in bringing psychological approaches to my attention, especially finding resources around neurodiversity and how that impacts embodiment and physicality. She is knowledgeable, passionate about the work and I feel she has my back and is invested in my fitness journey.”

“"Joining this spa and gym has been one of the best decisions I've made for my health and wellbeing. You're made to feel welcome by Luke and the team. Taking PT sessions with Jordan has really helped me focus on my specific goals. The gym is well equipped with everything I need, and the spa is a great place to swim and unwind in the hydro pool and sauna. The team genuinely cares about members and works incredibly hard to keep the facilities clean, tidy, and inviting. It's an enjoyable environment. The friendly, positive atmosphere is what keeps me coming back, and the smoothies are always worth a try. Paul Hove.”

“What an absolute pleasure it is to be a member of Natural Fit. This is our second year and we love it and are here as much as we can be. Not only are the classes, facilities and instructors (Jordan, Cecilia) fantastic, we’re always greeted so warmly by Ivy and Holly and the team from the moment we arrive, to when we leave. Special mention to Ivy, who always goes out of her way to make sure we are looked after, which is much appreciated. Bravo to such a lovely team!”

“(Shanna Cheesman) I joined Natural Fit this January and it really has been a great experience. At 51 I was unfit and in need of a lifestyle change. Natural Fit is a great gym because it offers so many different experiences. You can dive into a fitness class, take a relaxing swim and sauna or use the endless exercise facilities. There are also amazing personal trainers to get you started on your fitness journey. The entire team are friendly and welcoming and the members are friendly and fun.I feel so much better after such a short period of time. I genuinely can't recommend it more highly. A particular shout out to Ross my personal trainer who has taken the time to really make sure my technique is correct to prevent injury. I really feel in safe hands as I learn new ways of getting fit.”

“Natural Fit, Hove, is a welcoming, beautifully converted church with everything you could want from a modern gym. The space is thoughtfully laid out, with air-conditioned, dedicated areas for weights, machines, and an impressive range of classes including Pilates, Yoga, TRX, boxing, and circuits. The spa facilities are a real highlight — a pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna — all of which have been a blessing for my older, achier bones, especially during this grim stretch of winter weather. Members are welcome to fill a flask with chilled still or sparkling water, a small touch that feels surprisingly luxurious. The changing rooms are consistently clean and tidy, and towels are always available. There’s also a bar offering a delicious selection of snacks and drinks, plus two comfortable lounges where you can work or simply chat with others. What really sets this place apart is the staff. They’re unfailingly friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. As a complete gym novice, I arrived with a fair bit of trepidation after a health wake‑up call last July. The induction sessions with one of the club’s charming trainers made all the difference — I felt at ease almost immediately, and I haven’t looked back since. A charming building, excellent facilities, and a team who make you feel welcome from day one. Joining has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and wellbeing.”
