About The Curry Bengal
The Curry Bengal is a family-run Indian restaurant at 25 Station Rd in Horley, with a modern dining room. The menu lists curries including korma, butter chicken and aloo sag, and lamb tikka sits alongside them. On Sundays, the restaurant offers a banquet deal, which gives diners another way to choose what they eat that day.

Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the food and the friendly staff, with several describing delicious, well-spiced dishes, a good atmosphere, a clean dining room and reasonable prices for an impromptu midweek meal. One reviewer says they will return for another meal. A group at the Sunday banquet deal found the food tasty but reported hardly any meat in the curry portions, and cheddar in a curry sauce where the menu promised paneer. Two reviewers describe takeaway orders that fell short, one saying the prawns were not king prawns and the butter chicken was unlike any they had had before. One reviewer reports that a household felt unwell after a meal, and another says a family member felt unwell after trying the food. The most detailed complaint describes a delivery that arrived very late and stone cold, missing the lamb tikka main and the aloo sag, with a chicken korma containing only potato and soggy chips. The owner reportedly blamed the internet being down.
