  “Should not be in business. This evening we ordered two curries from Balti King, a chicken tikka Masala, and a garlic chilli chicken. I will start with the Masalla. When we got home we opened both curries ready for what we thought would be an amazing meal. However, the Masala was a dark burgundy curry with half of the curry as oil.. the entire thing had separated and what wasnt oil was large chunks of onion and other bits that had not been cut properly. This was a meal that had not been made correctly, stored for a while and then microwaved, clearly without being checked. To make it worse.. explain to me how can all of the chicken be brown when cut into - I could go with red as per the curry... but a light brown throughout just screams something is not right here. This curry was a mess, not fit for consumption, it's incredibly clear the chef does not have any passion towards his role or the restraunt and the level of disconcern towards this curry, is frankly embarrassing. The garlic chilli curry was completely the wrong colour. Presented poorly and again covered in oil. On inspecting the masala, and seeing this showing very similar detail.. both curries went straight into the bin. While I credit the two servers who were polite and offered to remake the curry, the damage was already done. These two were very helpful and understanding it has to be said. That being said, if the chef is prepared to serve this slop, I wouldnt trust him to run me bath let alone cook me a meal. Currently in the process of getting a refund.”

  “Would give a zero stars of I could. We come to the balti king every time we've come on holiday to Hayle for the last 5 years and this year, our collection went straight in the bin. Listen to the reviews, even if you think "ours will be fine". We ordered a tikka masala and garlic chilli. They are covered in layers of oil and when have you ever seen a tikka masala with BROWN/GREY chicken, full of lumps, oil layers and neon red? What kind of incompetent chef is able to mess that one up?! Our order looks like it was cooked 3 weeks ago and microwaved 10 minutes before our arrival. We rang up to request our order be changed (and the missing bhajis that we'd paid for actually included) but they informed us that because we ordered through THEIR third party website, we are unable to get a refund. Now we are left with no food for the evening. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.”
