About Mollys
Mollys is a small cafe on Roundham Rd, set on the harbour side and run by a team that takes a straightforward counter-service approach throughout the day. The kitchen cooks a full English breakfast to order each morning and moves into lunch service later, with a lemon sole among the specials. Footlong hot dogs appear on the kids' menu, and the drinks list covers cappuccinos alongside deluxe hot chocolate. Dogs are welcome inside, which makes the room a practical stop for anyone walking the harbour with a pet. The seating is compact and there are no customer toilets on site, so guests use the public toilets across the road or the facilities in the pub next door.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the freshly cooked full English, with one diner raving about the mushrooms. Hot drinks, footlong hot dogs, and the lemon sole special also draw positive mentions, while service earns praise in some visits and complaints in others, including orders sent out wrong twice and an abrupt interaction with one staff member. No customer toilets on site. Several note the harbour setting as a plus.

“Nice looking cafe, lunch was a bit of a disappointment. What looked like bog standard frozen fish, surprisingly overcooked. Chips were OK. Kids had a couple of the footlong hot dogs and really enjoyed them - regretted not getting one of those to be honest! Skip the fish and chips if you are wanting some classic seaside battered fish.”

“We didn't eat, but cappuccino and deluxe hot chocolate hit the right spot. Shame about takeaway cups, had a feeling of a catering wagon, hence the 4 stars not 5.”

“Great lunch, great weather. Would definitely return and reasonably priced for the location in the harbour.”

“Was in the harbour thought I would give this a try. Expensive two pints IPA shandy £12 same round in the spoons £5.00. No toilets on site so pay to use council toilets. Take my advice don't bother”

“We stopped here for lunch. Had the lemon sole on special, and a chicken and ham salad. Pint of lager and glass of Pinot Grigio. The food was fresh, well prepared and enjoyable, and they were happy to accommodate our food requests. A special mention to Tamika, who was one of the few hospitality staff we encountered in the Torquay area with real character and initiative. Friendly, efficient and genuinely good at her job—it made a real difference to the experience. The only thing worth noting is that there are no customer toilets on site. However, there are public toilets just across the road, or you can use the facilities in the pub next door. Overall, friendly competant service, good food, nice atmosphere- well worth a visit!”
