Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often single out the King Prawn Puree, with one calling it the best they have tasted, and several others praise it as a starter alongside the sweet chilli chicken, the tarka dal and the chicken Naga. Close behind are the restaurant's own specials, including the chicken Dawat and chicken Murg Sagrana, and the naan and poppadoms. Diners describe the staff as friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and the flavours as authentic and balanced, with one noting the chef will raise or lower the heat on request. Several mention repeat visits, and one used the takeaway option and was equally pleased. The main caveat is portion size: one reviewer finds the rices, starters and tandoori chicken quite small, and another calls the restaurant stingy with beverages when eating extra spicy dishes. A few note the small car park at the back, with room to park on the road nearby. One diner who had booked for an anniversary found the place busy and the tables spaced so it did not feel crowded.

“Gave this place a go after glowing reviews from a mate of mine, used the takeaway option this time, the service from staff was brilliant. The food itself was incredible, I had the chicken Naga and it was the best Naga I've ever had, perfect amount of spice and full of flavour. The rest of the meal was spot on too 👍”

“By far and away my favourite Indian restaurant. We have been back so many times and it never fails to impress. It’s not just the food that is excellent the service is always on point. Great work as ever”

“Absolutely amazing experience! The food was rich, authentic, and full of flavour — every dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The spices were balanced just right, not too strong or mild. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Honestly, one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve visited — and I can’t forget the tarka dal, it was absolutely perfect!”

“As someone from central London, Bangladeshi restaurants are a dime a dozen. But this restaurant, which is 15 mins away from the Great Yarmouth beachfront offered such a lovely enjoyable meal. The King prawn puree was the best I've tasted. The sweet chilli chicken was flavourful and so tender. The daal is so authentic. Service was great and pricing seems very reasonable against the quality offered. Highly recommend. The people who live in the area are very lucky!”
