  “Constantly closed during their opening hours. I have attended 5 separate times over the last 2 months during their stated opening hours, but they have always been closed. Often they will have the sign "store full closed early". If they at least had the door open, so they could tell you an appropriate time to come back, that would be something. There isn't even a phone number listed, anywhere! So unable to call in advance. This place gets such great reviews, maybe I have just been extremely unlucky, but unfortunately I can't take my chance with this place.”

  “Paul and his partner run an amazing business providing a service to Hucclecote that is truly historic. My downes syndrome brother always gets an amazing hair cut and beard trim. He even goes there by himself now. Fabulous guys. Thank you so much.”

  “Great cut, great price, great guys Just don't like the way they lock up and put a sign on door to say (shut early as shop is full). Would be better to have one in one out system as the sign causes confusion for customers like me not knowing if it's closed for the day or just a period of time.”

  “No frills barber, always good for a cut and a chat. Always best to visit a day or two after Man City have lost a match. Doesn't happen often but sure to make Paul smile 😊.”

  “Continuing in his father's tradition Gus. Who had the reputation for a no nonsense short back and sides... and invented the term you have been "Gussed" its a lovely through back gentlemans barboir with proeprchairs and an old fashioned quant waiting room that has a family appeal and where good chat about pop music and football and guy stuff is always entertianing and part of the service . Good prices solid totally relialble friendly service... its actually something money cannot buy... The Fox's is a generational family business and it shows..... Lucky to have them in Hucclecote...... again just something that makes Hucclecote a special place to live ..... esp if you think the only way to be throughly modern is by being throughly oldfashioned as well. Paul Fox is a old school entertaining bright pleasant dude and has character like his shop and like his Dad before him.Those seats have had some fun conversations over the decades i can tell you. It more of a lifestyle choice and service for me to have a good chat as part of the experience which again is just old fashioend and like it used to be. It might not be everyens cup of tea but it's still special. .... and a local tradition and much loved barbours with a history. Always a pleasure to go in and come out after a fresh cut. it's more than a good haircut this place.”

  “Went in for a beard trim and ended up with nothing left, 6 months growth gone and when asked for a refund he stood there smug and refused saying I was trying to get a beard trim for free. Beard is now all different lengths and will need trimming to even look decent at the short length it has been left at and another 6 months to get it to where it was before. Thanks for nothing. Will never return and wouldn't recommend to anyone!”
