  “Had a fantastic night out at Foxton Bar in Glenrothes with 6 friends and couldn’t have asked for a better evening! The food was excellent from start to finish, and the cocktails were a real highlight — expertly made and full of flavour. Great atmosphere, great service, and great company made for a brilliant evening. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun night out with good food and drinks. We’ll be back!”

  “We came in for some lunch and it was amazing. The Mac and cheese and the toasties are fab. I like that they had weekend offers as the salt and pepper hash brown were delicious. Joy, our waitress was lovely, chatty and checking in throughout. The only fault was the wait on the food as the restaurant wasn’t overly busy, but apart from that all excellent.”

She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the whole meal, making sure everything was perfect.   “I was here this evening with a large group, seven of whom are wheelchair users, and the staff at The Foxton went to a real effort to move things around to accommodate us and ensure we could all sit together at one big table. They made sure we were comfortable, and they were kind and efficient throughout our visit. Despite us being such a large party we didn't have to wait too long for our food, and it was delicious. The kitchen staff did a fantastic job. The member of staff who was seeing to our table did an amazing job getting all the orders correct and checking in with us regularly to make sure everything was okay. He recognised that some of our party required different cups/utensils and offered this before we even had the chance to ask. I really appreciate the kind service, especially when it must be stressful for staff to have such a large party to deal with at peak dinner time. As we were at a work outing we were required to pay separately, which the staff handled with complete grace and understanding. I'm sorry that on my way out I was in a hurry and forgot to leave a tip. I will come back to leave a tip sometime in the near future. Thanks so much again to all the staff.”

  “Had really nice lunch here for my birthday with my step daughter and service was reasonably quick and food tasted good. Only thing we were not a fan of is the service charge thats added to the bill now as felt pressured to leave it on even though they did offer to remove it if wanted. Much prefer just having the choice ourselves whether to tip or no as definitely went away with that as the main talking point from lunch here.”

  “We decided to give it a try again ( we visited 1 year ago with a terrible experience). Had a family lunch and I have to say they are improving. A few things about food:fish and chips were absolutely amazing, the steak was more like well done instead of medium , how we asked for it, and the paella was great only a bit too salty. The banana and custard dessert was very tasty.Definitely better than our previous visit! Hopefully next time they will pay more attention to details. Service : 5*+ from Emilia. She was awesome!!!!!! Funny, professional and spot on. I couldn't get better service. We will be back and hopefully it will be even better.”

  “Great food, I had the 8oz fillet steak, my partner had the prawn taco's. Both were fantastic. Amelia our waitress was very welcoming and so friendly. I would highly recommend.”

  “Lovely place, very welcoming and the attention was prompt. Very efficient service by waiting staff. Good range of choice on the menu. Plenty space around the tables so you didn't feel as though you were sitting on top of the next table. Plenty space to get in with a wheelchair if you needed to do so. The food arrived very quickly after we ordered and the plates were heaped high. If you have a big appetite then have no fear, you will have plenty of food. The gluten free fish and chips were excellent. Fish, nice and fresh, batter, crispy and light. Delicious. A++”

  “Absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The food was amazing & great atmosphere within the place. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Being dog-friendly was a huge bonus and made the visit even better. Can’t recommend this place enough — we’ll definitely be back very soon! 🐾🍽️”
