  “Ordered food at drive through and told to park up and wait. I waited 20 minutes. Food came out no apologies or anything. Seriously bad service I’m going to skip this location going forward. They are never busy but always make you wait. Why????”

  “Twice we’ve been to this KFC in Heworth over the past few months and both times the food has been fresh and piping hot. I thought the first time was just luck but after today it proves they’ve got it spot on here! Definitely the best KFC in the area!”

  “don’t know what’s going on at KFC Felling, but I’m convinced they’re raising the chickens from birth before serving them. In person? Slow. Like, “watch your life flash before your eyes while waiting for a Zinger meal” slow. You start off hungry and leave questioning your entire existence. Thought I’d be clever and order on Deliveroo instead—big mistake. Somehow it’s even slower. We actually contacted the driver, and even he was frustrated. When your delivery driver is emotionally invested in the delay, you know things have gone very wrong. At this point, I’ve stopped ordering altogether. It is genuinely quicker for me to go out, source a chicken, raise it with love and care, humanely kill it, bread it, season it, and cook it… all before they’ve even glanced at my order. Food’s decent when it finally arrives, but by then you’ve aged about three years and lost the will to eat. 0/10 for speed. 10/10 for teaching patience.”

  “I waited almost 1 hour, after an hour they made my food in a hurry.. I asked for a wrap and they made me one with leftover strips almost like there was none at all. Black potatoes from the oil.. and the staff was weak and arrogant”

  “Very disappointing experience at KFC Gateshead filling store . When we asked about the available side dishes, the staff member clearly did not understand what we were asking and kept repeating “rice,” which was not even relevant. We tried multiple times to explain, but there was no effort to understand or clarify. On top of that, the staff seemed unaware of what items were currently available and showed no concern for customer service. Overall, it was a frustrating experience with unhelpful and poorly informed staff.”

  “I love being told "there will be a 5 minute wait", only to spend 20 minutes sat in their car park waiting for my food, only to get it home and see this absolutely pathetic "portion" of fries. I'll try my best to enjoy both fries.”

  “ordered a party bucket and extra gravy came to fifty quid it was totally disgusting the chicken was dry and the coating was was rock hard and dark brown it looked and tasted as if it was cooked yesterday it went in the bin a few still in the box, phoned up to make a complaint and the girl said i had to phone just eat i said why they just delivered it not cooked it, i am fuming i should have got the bus to the metro centre to get a popeyes would have cost less as well. i have gave 1 star but it wouldn't let me give zero disgusting”

  “It's a KFC, what is there to say. Not the busiest store, but the food was as expected. The car park has a 60 minute maximum stay though, so it might be best not to eat slowly!”

  “One of if the worst experiences I've had in a KFC, it was empty but employed by folks who couldn't really care less if they were there or not. The place was in a right state you'd think a bomb had went off, I had to wait excessively long for my food and they got my order wrong, I struggle to see how one achieves this triple faux pas when the place was empty and I was the only person being served. What redeems this place ever so slightly is that it's in walking distance to the metro station and it's could be quite the swanky new do, with it's sort of shabby chic look, shame no one cares enough to look after it really.”
