  “Our friends recommended this for a meal out. Me and my wife visited with our friends and we were not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and professional. There is a good choice of food but not OTT. The food was piping hot and very tasty. Also a good selection of drinks. Never seen a candy floss machine, this was great. The restaurant was spotless, and the toilets were also spotless and fresh. I cannot find a negative word to say. Thank you to you all for a great dining experience.”

  “Avoid going here. All the food lukewarm to cold. Limited choice on starters. Sauces in food very watery. Lovely setting but food really lets the place down. Won't be returning”

  “First time we've been and we were really impressed. I only eat fish, chicken and veggies but the number of dishes for me to choose from was amazing. Absolutely loads of dishes if you eat everything, which my husband did 🤣 The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the resteraunt was immaculate. The food is beautifully presented and the dish labels were clear. Really good value for money. Will definitely be going back very soon.”

  “Sunday lunch was fantastic great selection of seafood sushi, salmon prawns and muscles ...we were spoilt on mains all very tasty duck and braised steaks .. nuggets and sausages macaroni cheese for the kids. Vast range of puddings cheese cakes and mouses chocolate fountain and ice creams. Very reasonable priced. Thank you to the staff who made us so so welcome 10 out of 10.”

  “A great buffet for the Borders. A few have tried their hand over the past decade or so, but this one seems like it will stay. They have a nice selection of clearly labelled food, including a small salad and dessert bar. If you don't want alcoholic drinks, they have a refillable glass for a selection of soda's. As they've just recently opened, their card machine hasn't been set up, you either had to pay with cash or by bank transfer. All-in-all, I'd recommend it, as you now don't need to travel to either Edinburgh or Carlisle for a good buffet.”
