“We had a portion of what we would have thought to be chippy chips 🍟 given this place calls itself a fish 🐟 & chip 🍟 shop, nope they were frozen straight out of the bag chips 🍟 😜😳🥴, mind you the curry sauce wasn't all bad. 1 portion of frozen chips 🍟 and a sprinkle of curry sauce £5.75...good bit of profit 📈 there there.”

“Biggest rip off in the highlands. One battered sausage 6 pound and 4.60 for frozen rubbish chips. I chose red pudding supper. Now everywhere in scotland you got two of on a supper. 9 quid I paid only got one sausage and it wasn't even red. Total waste of money. How can you justify 6 pound for one sausage. And serve frozen chips? Disgusting. They should be ashamed.”

“This is my sixth fish and chip meal as I've traveled across the UK for two weeks and it is right up there among my favourites. The fish was moist and the batter light. Very tasty. Service was reasonably quick and the fellow at the register was very pleasant. I do like vinegar though and was told they put it on before it is served. It must have been applied with a very light hand. Filling meal. Couldn't eat all the chips.”

“Quick fish and chips stop to have lunch. Also, ferry tour is not necessary. Take a walk around instead and you will be more satisfied.”

Customer Review Summary
The chips divide opinion. A few call them quite nice, but others say they are frozen, not golden, and in places hard, as if they needed longer in the fryer. Two reviewers say the portions felt overpriced, one pointing to a single battered sausage and a red pudding supper that arrived with one pudding that was not red. Another found the fish bland and oily, and one waited a while when a busload of tourists arrived. The curry sauce is described as not all bad, though one portion was only a sprinkle over frozen chips.
