  “*Guitarists and nails – read this* I was dubious about visiting a nail salon for the first time. Fact is, although I prefer to finger-pick, before any gig, I live in dread of the nails on my picking hand breaking, as I have such weak nails. Many, many solutions have been attempted over the years. But not a nail salon … until last week. I wandered into USA Nails, told them my issue, and was reassured when the first question was "how many nails?", rather than a blank look. Turns out they have a few guitarists on their books. I said in more detail what I wanted, and after a while, I have a strong set of (4) nails. The technicians were very friendly, and the price was very fair. I am happy with the sound on the guitar. So, I shall return in a month or so, as the nails grow out, and ask for some minor modifications, now I understand what longer fingernails mean as a player. It's also good that the nails look totally natural, just longer. I thought I would have to live with some weird "neutral" colour, but no – they just look like my own nails, only longer, and way stronger. Thank you”

  “Have used USA nail bar before, this time i decided to just have glitter tops, photo showed, they told me it would cost £10 more than just a normal polish, WHAT!!!.. am sure they make up there own prices to suit. I was not at all happy with the end result and made that clear, they said this is what you wanted which it wasn't, I even showed them a photo of what I wanted..They came across as off and annoyed.. that will be my last time I go there, they have just lost my custom. Also the chap doing my nails suddenly took his mask off and sneezed every were.”

  “I have visited this salon for a year. Every visit they are late on my appointment. Each pedicure they have nicked one of my cuticles. They do a good job painting the nails, but they are rude and not very welcoming. Twice I have gone and because they had a lot of walk ins changed my appointment time without calling me! I will take my money else where… these people don’t deserve my business!”

  “Went here after a friend at work recommend them. Never had nails done before but special occasion of my daughter's wedding took me there. Absolutely love my new acrylic nails, the lady was lovely and explained everything to me. Will definitely be back. X”
