  “Our friends took us their for a meal and the food was fantastic they put on a buffet for us which i highly recommend all staff was excellent and very friendly since then we have had 4 or 5 takeaways and every time the food has been terrific and always ready for the time we arrange to collect”

  “Food excellent. However, disappointed that we ordered two dips, two starters, two mains, rice and a naan bread costing over £50 that we didn't get any complimentary poppadoms or any other dips.”

  “Super attentive waitresses Skye and Sophia, not overbearing but very kind and good natured and ensured we had everything we needed. Had the tiger prawns to start and absolutely blew us away. A sweet, Creamy, flavourful marinade was perfect and the prawns were large and juicy. Mains were a special garlic chilli and a pista passanda. Both excellent and we paid compliments to the chef. Can't wait to come back”

  “This is our 2nd time ordering from the gurka kitchen in ellon. We were recommended by a friend. My partner is a huge Indian foodie. I have never managed to venture past a korma or a tikka, but I came out my comfort zone and went off road and picked something completely different and was blown away. The quality, the taste , the service was out of this world. We chose take away as the restaurant is upstairs and we are both disabled . The ordering online was very easy with plenty of options to add things or take things off the meal. My husband chose a chicken tikka balti. I chose the mixed grill which was worth the money. A huge pile of chicken and lamb and kofta with onions all cooked on tandoor. Then a huge naan bread. A box of tri coloured rice and a box of curry sauce which is amazing. At £18.95 we didn't need to order a second rice for balti dish. A garlic naan cooked well done was just that as requested. The yoghurt sauce ,down to the bag of salad was faultless. Our son only eats all his food from 1 store even agreed to try their chicken nuggets and chips and at £7.50 he ate the lot. The box looked like it hadn't been filled to the brim with food. The first time we ordered an extra kebab and the mixed grill with tikka balti and it fed us for 2 days. Delivery was on time. Drivers friendly and patient waiting for us to get to the door. He did call us to let us know we was outside, which was really thoughtful. Even the family pet approved of the taste of lamb he got to try as he is allergic to chicken (poor guy lol ) would i go back? YES. Do I recommended it? YES. We already looking forward to our next visit where we will try something different. For an Indian restaurant that provides a take away service as good as what we have had twice its changed my thoughts about Indian food. Plenty meat and sauce to mop up.with the huge naans. These guys know what their doing,”
