Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the fresh, flavourful Thai food, with the chicken pad Thai singled out by one as the best they have had. Close behind are the pork Penang, a punchy Tom Sum salad ordered at a two chilli spice level, and a papaya salad, while the Thai chicken curry was described as quite spicy. For dessert, reviewers name the mango sticky rice with perfectly ripe mango and a cupcake. Portions are called generous, and the staff are described as friendly and welcoming even when the restaurant is busy. The main complaint concerns reservations. One diner who phoned ahead arrived to be told no table was booked and suggests booking online for confirmation, while another recommends booking after getting the last table on a busy weekend. One reviewer also found two bowls of rice a little expensive. A Thai diner noted the kitchen prepared some different dishes on request, and one visitor was pleased to find a local whisky on the drinks list.

“A lovely little Thai restaurant tucked away in Elgin! The food was delicious, authentic and full of flavour, with generous portions and very reasonable prices. They even server Benromach whisky!!!! (A huge plus) Everything tasted freshly prepared, with a good balance of spices and flavours. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The waitresses and host especially went above and beyond. The restaurant itself has a cosy, relaxed atmosphere, making it a great spot for a casual meal. A pleasant surprise during our visit to Elgin, and definitely somewhere we’d happily return to. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for some good Thai food in the area!”

“Called to book a table for my partners birthday, got asked if I wanted upstairs or downstairs i picked down stairs turn up early to be told I didnt have a table booked. After checking my phone I was able to show I did call. If you ever want to book this place don't call book online so you get confirmation as they clearly are unable to do it over the phone. Thanks to the Mansefield for accommodating us last minute we had a lovely meal there.”

“Easily one of my favorite Thai restaurants, anywhere. Impeccable service and attention to detail from both the front and back of the house. Do not miss if you are visiting Moray, and DEFINITELY do not miss if you’re staying in Elgin.”

“We went on Thursday and sat upstairs. It was really lively and clearly doing very well. I wasn’t very hungry, so I had the papaya salad with rice, while my husband had the Thai chicken curry with rice. Between the two of us, it was less than £40. It was quite spicy, so we ended up eating all the rice! 😂 £8 for two bowls of rice is a little expensive though”
