Customer Review Summary
Fried chicken is what reviewers return to Bucks Bar for, with several calling the chicken burger or sandwich the best they have had, and one describing a huge portion that stayed satisfying to the last bite. Another pairs juicy fried chicken with salt and chilli chips, and one party picked the buffalo wings as their favourite. Close behind is the service, described as friendly, welcoming and attentive, with servers asking about allergies on arrival and checking back on food and drinks. The atmosphere is called fun, warm and relaxed, with rock music not so loud that conversation suffers, and one birthday diner praised the live music. A few mention a mix of age groups and a lovely dessert. Reviewers also note that the food arrived moments after ordering, hot and fresh.

“Who knew the best chicken sandwich is at a rock and roll bar in Edinburgh? Fun vibe, great food and love the rock music from years of the best rock. Super friendly service from entire staff. Not so loud you can't talk and enjoy this fun place. When in Edinburgh skip the pricey hotel lounge and head to Buck's.”
