Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the food itself, with the beef in oyster sauce singled out as a highlight, alongside chicken satay, battered prawns with a fresh-tasting batter, and hoisin duck with cashews. Several describe a beautiful balance of flavours and a lot to choose from, and groups celebrating birthdays say the whole table left happy. Service is mostly called friendly and attentive, and one reviewer was fitted in after ringing on the off-chance. The complaints are specific. One diner got two wrong orders from a waitress who snapped "do you want it or not?" and never apologised. Another waited a long time for mains with empty glasses and tables packed so close that a loud neighbouring group drowned out conversation, and found the seafood Gra Praw bland. A delivery customer called the portions small for the price, with a seafood soup holding one prawn and one mussel and a sharing starter that looked far bigger in the photo. One reviewer still praised the cook's food on the day she was leaving.

“What a disappointment. I ordered via JustEat and spent around £50 for three dishes. At that price point, expectations are understandably high. Unfortunately, the portion sizes were extremely disappointing. The “sharing” starter (£18) was particularly misleading — the image displayed by the restaurant showed a much larger selection than what was actually delivered. What arrived was nowhere near what was advertised. The seafood soup (£10) contained just two small pieces of seafood (one prawn and one mussel), which felt poor value for money. The beef dish itself was tasty, but the portion amounted to only a few mouthfuls — again, difficult to justify at £18. Overall, the pricing is premium but the portions do not reflect that. I wouldn’t order from here again.”

“We had some really nice food here. Our starts were chicken satay and battered prawns, both were so good, the batter on the prawns tasted excellent and very fresh. I had hoisin duck with cashews for my main and it was great! The lady who served us was so polite and friendly as well. It was a weekday night and it wasn’t too busy, all our food was served in a timely manner.”

“Came here as a party of 7 for my husband's Birthday. Very impressed. The best food I've had out in so very very long. The service was as perfect as the flavours and so was the atmosphere. I'm so glad this place was recommended to us, or else we might not have found it. Luckily it's walking distance from my house too!”

“Stopping here en route to France we rang on the off-chance of a table and we were fitted in. Lovely staff and the food was superb - beautiful balance of flavours, perfectly cooked meats and fish and everything presented beautifully. We're so glad we called, highly recommended!”

“Took my mum here for her birthday lunch - on a Sunday - and have to say it was wonderful. Food was delicious (special shout out for the beef in oyster sauce(!)), prices extremely reasonable, service was attentive and friendly, and all six of us left full and happy. Will definitely be back!”
