Customer Review Summary
Regulars of many years, some for 6, 7 or even 25 years, return to Curry King chiefly for consistently good curries, with several saying they have never had a bad meal. Reviewers name the chicken tikka madras, the balti, the lookmani social and the mango delight, and one fussy eater says the kitchen caters to their needs. Generous portions come up repeatedly, and a vegetarian diner's partner praised the plentiful vegetable options. Staff are described as friendly, nothing too much trouble, and they suggest new dishes based on previous orders. Prices are called reasonable and great value. The criticism is smaller but specific: one first-time customer found the spicy dishes quite sweet, without any kick of heat, though delivery was prompt. Another found the chicken dry and chewy with a watery sauce, and the mixed kebab meat tough. Onion bhajis earn praise from more than one reviewer, and one customer was offered a free onion bhaji or popadom on the house along with a discount.
