  “Just had the lunch deal. Food lovely hot and delicious plus a glass of really lovely wine only £14.95 each. Fantastic. Really friendly staff thanks again. Will definitely return.”

  “Overall a great evening here. Food delicious (2 courses £31 inc drink) and generous portions. Great choice of cocktails too well presented. Service mostly very good however it was very busy and being sat by the pass it was quite noisy. There was an issue with the gas for the beer and we waited a long time (not servers fault) and we felt it could’ve been handled a bit differently. Will recommend and return in the future.”

  “Lovely to place to go for just a drink or have food as well. Food is always good, great value for money. Portion services are also very generous. Staff are very attentive, especially Jon. Great bar man. Definitely be going back”

  “We had an great evening here. The food was delicious – fresh, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Every course felt well thought out and worth it. The cocktails were just as impressive, really well balanced and presented beautifully. The whole vibe was warm and welcoming.the set menu with a complimentary drink was a good deal. Such a great spot for a date night or special occasion!”

  “I (we) went from Haywards Heath to East Grinstead using the Bluebell Railway and stumbled upon this restaurant while walking. Was greeted with a worker, shortly sat in a table (if I remember correctly) The atmosphere is nice. Cozy music, warm yellow lights. You can hear the sizzling from the kitchen if you sit near it, which for me is a nice touch. Although ventilation and metal pipes are exposed, the decorations blend in to distract. The portions are large, with each meal mostly serving with a salad. There's a complementary sauce tray. My meal, the lasagna, looks well plated, and indeed tasted extraordinary. Peppery, smoky, and a well made Ragu that almost feels like it's made from Italy. The cheese is stringy, but not in a processed way. Like edam cheese, but grilled. The extra bread served is extremely crispy. Scrape the pieces of the lasagna using the bread, and you can maximize your taste buds. It's extremely filling though, hope you can finish it "The coffee is amazing" "Well plated presentation" "Worth it for the price" Overall, 5 stars. I wish to go here again, just one more time.”

  “First time for food, always struggled to get a seat in this place as it’s always very popular. I had the Steak Benedict, wasn’t massively impressed but the others enjoyed their meals and had no complaints. It does feel quite clicky in here at times, however I have been for drinks and the guys behind the bar are very accommodating and make excellent cocktails!”

  “My friends and I had drinks here after dinner elsewhere, one of my friends having recently moved to East Grinstead. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great cocktail menu and we all loved our drinks. The bar is really stylish and has a lovely vibe. Would happily go there again!”
