Customer Review Summary
Beef pho and beef noodle soup draw the most praise, with diners describing a rich, flavourful broth, tender meat and nicely cooked noodles in bowls so large that one reviewer got two meals from it. Summer rolls come close behind, in prawn, chicken and beef versions, with a dipping sauce one reviewer rated highly. Another found them filling and wanted more fresh veg and less noodle. Others mention chicken noodle soup, a grilled pork vermicelli bowl, chicken curry, and a Vietnamese iced coffee one diner's wife adored. Reviewers repeatedly call the portions massive and the value good, and several describe the service as friendly and quick, including care in confirming allergies and accommodating a vegan request. On the downside, one reviewer found the bathroom hard to reach by wheelchair, with boxes in the corridor and a pedal bin in the transfer space. Another reports finding a little beef in a prawn pho served to a pescatarian guest. One couple noticed Vietnamese pop music playing, and the wife felt back home.

“This restaurant is just up the road from the travelodge that we were staying at , so after looking at local restaurants we thought we would give it a try And what a gem it turned out to be The menu is small (no bad thing) and offers various dishes in meat, seafood and veggie options . There are a few starters but no deserts, and serves no alcohol, so just a few soft drinks . My wife had a Vietnamese iced coffee which she adored The food is delicious. Fresh , vibrant and spicy. The plates and bowls come in super size portions and I struggled to eat it all….. but managed to😄 Absolutely brilliant value . Mains average around £13 I’d say If you like Far Eastern food styles then you’ll love this place Highly recommended”

“We were staying at Durham travelodge and I looked to see if there was anywhere to eat nearer than the town and ended up with the best meal of our three night stay. Excellent service, beautiful food, large portions and all at a great price.. If I'd seen this on our first night I'd have been back. What a treat it must be to have this on your doorstep. I'd love to try the full menu.”

“Lovely service, very catering to guest allergies and made sure to confirm extent of allergy before serving dishes. I had the beef summer rolls and chicken noodle soup, ill agree with other reviews that the portions were massive, takeaway containers are available but do charge 50p per. Accesiblity wise, the space is quite open and chairs could easily be moved to make space for wheelchair, I believe there is a slight lip on the door and the bathrooms were not too accesible (boxes in corridor space to little room for wheels to get through, bathroom had handrails and red cord but pedal bin and children's stool in the way of transfer space)”

“The pho at this place is absolutely delicious! The broth is rich and flavorful, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s a bit far from the city, but totally worth the trip.”
