  “Exceptional Dining Experience at Tony Macaroni. We had an absolutely fantastic meal at Tony Macaroni in Dundee. The entire dining experience was flawless from start to finish. The Food & Desserts: * Spaghetti Carbonara: Rich, creamy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to absolute al dente perfection. * Chicken Breast in Creamy Pepper Sauce: Incredibly tender chicken paired with a bold, velvety, and deeply flavorful sauce. * Sticky Toffee Pudding: Served in a large portion, incredibly tasty, and the perfect sweet conclusion. The Service & Atmosphere: * Efficient ordering: Staff took our orders quickly right after we were seated. * Fast drinks: Refreshments arrived at our table almost immediately. * Attentive team: The staff remained highly attentive, helpful, and welcoming throughout. * Impressive pacing: They maintained great service and speed even on a busy Sunday night. Tony Macaroni Dundee is highly recommended for top-tier Italian comfort food. We will definitely be returning soon.”

  “Staff and manager provided great service under poor circumstances out of there control Shortage of many ingredients to complete orders from menu to the point it became laughable . Then coffee machine not working ? Then told there was a shortage of cutlery. Food that did come was ok and edible. Was told head office where not ordering enough supplies Very disappointed family gathering for six people from out of town . If you can’t fulfill orders tell customers before you seat them .”

  “This place is alright. Nothing fancy. The food was ordinary but a bit pricy for the taste. The portions are big, a starter will fill you up no problem. Waiters are polite and friendly and ready to help. I personally hate the interior, too stuffy and dark. The tables are too high up and the booth’s are chunky and just make it feel cheap. Unless you’re sitting by the windows, you’ll find the seating area a bit dark and soulless. It’s alright, it’s not an experience you’d remember. It’s also not one you’ll complain about.”

  “Group of 9 parkrun tourists turned up with no reservation. Great service - thank you Sophie. Very accommodating. Note service charge of 10% is added and you can only split the bill 6 ways according to the menu,”

  “I did consider making the service a 4* but it’s stayed at a 5 due to ordering to Pints of Cola but was brought water. When the waiter who delivered the water noticed we were confused they asked. We explained and it was swapped over for us instantly and with no fuss. The food was incredible. The atmosphere and staff were amazing and we were amazed there is still waitresses and waiters that can remember an order without writing it down. Definitely recommend this place. And WILL be visiting again. There is options to walk in or book a table. Thankfully we were able to just walk in and be seated for our food.”

  “The service was pretty poor as we were left with finished plates for at least 20 minutes and had that annoying wait of asking for our bill. The food was pretty average with the pasta only being partially covered in the sauce as if not much time was taken in presenting the meal and the bruscheta pomodoro was some bland tomatoes on dry toast. The voluntary service charge that is already added to your bill makes the bill paying moment more awkward. The only plus was that the pizza was alright.”

  “Very disappointing. The website proudly states that the chefs have extensive training in Italian food. Based on our order, I'm assuming those chefs don't work there anymore. The carbonara was swimming in oil, the calamari was greasy and chewy, the bolognese contained barely any meat, and the calzone was drowned in sauce. The amount of oil left on the plates afterwards was ridiculous, as the photos clearly show. What really earned this review was the response. After spending over £70 and providing photos, I was simply told this was how the dishes were supposed to be.”

  “Absolutely shocking level of customer service on arrival and waiting for someone to take a drinks order. The staff could not have cared less. Waiting 15 mins for 2 drinks when its quiet is not acceptable. Needless to say we didnt leave a tip. Not so much as a goodbuy when leaving. Won't ever be back. Suggest management do some customer service training with your staff.”

  “Being in the city centre, you often feel like going out to eat and enjoy a nice meal. Italian food is always a good option, and Tony Macaroni delivered a decent experience. The restaurant was packed, so the wait time for food was a bit long—but that’s expected during busy hours. The portion sizes were generous, and the menu had a wide variety of options, which can be a little overwhelming when trying to pick just one dish! I tried both their pasta and pizza, and they were quite good. It’s a nice place to go with friends or family, and while I personally enjoy a few other Italian restaurants more, Tony Macaroni is still a solid choice—especially if you’re looking to try something different from your usual spots. You likely won’t be disappointed.”

  “We were pleasantly surprised at this restaurant. It was clean, with modern decor and friendly staff and not too busy at 4pm on the last day of term. Despite the extensive menu, my pizza was thin crust, delicious and served hot and fresh. The breadsticks dessert was a real treat, big portion with warm sticks and plenty of dipping sauce.”
