Customer Review Summary
The Dorset Spice Explosion is the dish reviewers name most. One calls it the best curry in years, and another lists it as exquisite alongside the chicken rajastani and lamb vindaloo. Close behind are the vegetable Ceylon, chicken dansak, pasanda chicken tikka and modhu chicken, served with coconut rice, peshwari naan or plain naan. Reviewers repeatedly praise the flavour, the fresh ingredients and food that arrives hot, whether collected or delivered. One says a delivery was still piping hot after being left while plates were sorted. Several mention friendly staff who talk through the menu, a helpful phone call and a service described as brilliant on allergens. Two reviewers travelled from Sherborne and London to come back. The one dissenting reviewer found the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala without any flavour or spice, and the chicken poor quality. Portions are described as large, with one household heating leftovers for dinner the next night.

“Among the worst Indian food I have ever had. Ordered the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala (classics) and neither of them had any flavor/spices whatsoever. Chicken was not good quality. Very very disappointing, what a waste”

“This is a truly great experience from start to finish. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with an authentic welcome from the staff. I quite often walk in not knowing what I want to order and they are always happy to walk me through the menu with extensive knowledge to give me exactly what I was looking for. The food is always incredible and that's after making my way through a lot of the menu. I would like to give a special shout out to Nabil on the front desk for what he does there.”
