Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the food as fresh and tasty, with several singling out the massive chicken balls, the special fried rice, and a sweet and sour tofu dish. Reviewers describe it as not greasy and good in portion size, and one says they drive in from Weymouth to get it. Delivery and service come up repeatedly, with a friendly driver, communication about when an order was being prepared, and an order that arrived on time and hot. One reviewer calls the dining room spacious and clean. Close behind the praise sits a sharper set of complaints. One reviewer who tried it twice found the fried rice salty with an odd aftertaste, the ribs gristly, and the Hong Kong style pork fatty. Another describes tasteless ribs and a house special fried rice that was mostly boiled rice with a little egg, a few rubbery shrimps, and three small slices of dubious looking chicken and pork. Another calls the taste average and similar to Hong Kong style. Even so, a reviewer who ordered a set menu for two plus three separate dishes reports the food arrived delicious and hot.

“We had a set menu for 2 then 3 separate dishes for the other 2 people. Great communication re confirmation and when it was being prepared. It was delivered bang on time by a very happy friendly guy with a lovely big smile. The food was delicious and hot. Would always use Lee Garden in future. This is the second time I have used them and it was superb each time. Thank you x”

“Worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. I have consumed Chinese up and down the country including London's China town as well as in New York's china town and all of Dorchester takeaways and never have I tasted food this inedible. I tried Lee garden twice, giving it the benefit of the doubt, but still the fried rice was salty and gave weird after taste, the ribs gristly, and Hong Kong style pork fatty. A pity as the staff looked great in traditional Chinese style clothes and restaurant itself looks deceivingly authentic.”
