“After a 3-hour journey up north, we stopped at what looked like a brand-new McDonald’s for some hot drinks. I ordered 3 teas and a latte, but no milk, sugar or stirrers were provided. When I politely asked for milk, a team member (Alisha, according to her faded name badge) gave me 3 sachets. When I asked for more, I was met with an eye roll and “I’ve given you 3 already.” Explaining I had 4 drinks resulted in the sachets being slammed onto the counter. I then had to ask for sugar and a stirrer too. The whole thing happened in front of a shift manager in a white shirt, who made no attempt to intervene. I appreciate staff have busy shifts, but there is no excuse for making customers feel like an inconvenience for politely asking for basic items. Shocking customer service. Is this really the standard McDonald’s expects?”
