  “I Found this Greek cafe by accident when visiting Darlington and have been delighted. I had the “pork gyros portion” - a Huge portion of authentic Greek gyros, beautifully presented on a large platter. I Bought a delicious looking cake to takeaway. Excellent latte served with a mini seeded bread/cake. Very friendly helpful staff in a beautifully clean environment. Tables quickly cleared and cleaned. A gem of a place!”

  “I had eggs Benedict a couple of years ago at this place and it was absolutely excellent. Same order today and it was bang average! Yolks were over cooked in parts and undercooked whites in parts. The expected slice of baked ham or bacon not the case, instead a slice of cooked ham from a supermarket shelf. Something has gone wrong, complacency? Service was good.”

  “Basically the best full English I've had....a proper experience. Every ingredient on the plate was superbly prepared. A great atmosphere.....can't wait to return to try the Greek specialities. Great service.”

  “Less than fresh cakes, carpets and upholstery need a good clean, a staff members kids seemed to be using the upstairs as a playroom. Coffee is OK but it's still probably the worst cafe I've been to in Darlington.”

  “Went for breakfast, we had a small breakfast each at £ 8.95 plus a glass of fresh orange each bill came to £27 90. We were shocked at the price and ask why it was so expensive, we were told the orange juice was 5 pounds a glass, it was a small glass with lots of ice. Yes it was fresh orange but not much.”
