About Tir a Môr

Seating is split between a ground floor and an upstairs room, where the tables look out over the sea. Dogs are welcome. The kitchen runs a breakfast menu that finishes before the lunch menu begins. Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is what most reviewers return to, from traditional Welsh breakfasts with a pot of tea and the fry to breakfast baps, bacon and egg butties and vegetarian breakfasts with homemade relish. Close behind are lunch dishes such as pulled pork baps, a crab sandwich with fresh coleslaw, a fish platter and a fish finger butty. The cheesecake and cherry bakewell earn praise for dessert, and one reviewer singles out a side salad with peppers, beetroot and a pesto style glaze. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and welcoming, and the upstairs seating with a view of the sea and the outside tables draw comment. The one complaint is specific. A diner who asked for a burger without salad received it with salad, and when staff offered to remove it, the same burger came back with picked-off pieces still left on it. Elsewhere, one family found the server remembered them on a second visit, and another couple booked a table for their journey home.

“Quite a large menu with daily specials and there is a lot of seating both inside and outside. The food was nice and good sized portions. My only issue was that the burger we ordered came out with salad after asking for it without, which I understand happens. However when they offered to remove it I saw it had only been picked off and I was given the same burger back with pieces still left on if what they’d picked. This is definitely not a good practice and wouldn’t have been good if an allergy was involved”

“Have eaten here a few times,l whilst here on holiday. Lovely spot, food is always good, breakfast in particular was excellent (we had the fry) staff were lovely, service is quick and friendly, cafe is clean and bright and has nice seating outside for when the weather holds out :D the gentleman who served us pretty much everyday (not sure if owner or manager or what) was such a breath of fresh air. The nicest person and couldn't do more for you. Thank you for the exceptional hospitality. Definitely will be back!”

“We stopped off here for a quick break and a drink on our visit to the castle. It’s a gorgeous and beautiful cafe, really tastefully done out. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, plus there’s free parking right alongside it. Top-notch!”
