Customer Review Summary
The complaints are about the details. Tea is the most repeated: one reviewer found the leaves weak even after a long brew, and another tasted chlorine in a camomile tea. On the breakfast side, one diner found the pancakes tough because they are reheated, the French toast barely soaked, and Sunday sandwich bread stale. Others found a dish small, or sauce overpowering both meals. A few note close-set tables and a dining room that looks worn.

“Place is nice, and homely . Quite ambience...relaxing. We get seated right away, no waiting. Staff friendly, and pleasant. 4 stars for food just because for both dishes there was to much sauce overpowering all food flavor. But still would like to return to try some other dishes.Nice selection by the way.”

“Visited here today for the first time. Loved it. Great atmosphere, service and food. Free filter coffee top up is a nice touch. Will definitely be back”

“Pop in here now and again, my boyfriend and I have had lunch here a few times and we would pop in after a walk around the lake for a sweet treat and a hot drink. We always get good service and somewhere to sit, it's a popular spot and I'd highly recommend it.”

“Food was really delicious, but the tea leaves were weak even thoughi left it a long time to brew. The cafe was busy which created a nice atmosphere but the tables were quite close together and it made it difficult to have a conversation. Food and drinks came out quickly and the staff were pleasant, but I dont recall any of them smiling at any time during our visit!”

“We do like this place, its reasonably priced, child friendly, has a lot of seating and is open on Sundays. But their breakfast menu isnt great - pancakes are very hard and when I asked if they were made fresh I was told they batch make them fresh then reheat as orders come in. Unfortunately this means they are served tough. French toast was ok but hadn't been properly soaked, just dipped into the mixture (which was very eggy and could have used more cream to balance the mixture out). Generally like their sandwiches but they are not made to order and I've found the bread is stale on a Sunday because they have been sitting out. They toast the sandwiches which mostly hides the staleness. They have decaf coffee beans which taste great!”
