“Dogs only welcome outside—plenty of tables, however, did fill up fast. The food was okay; for the price we paid, I didn't feel like I'd been robbed, but I wouldn't hurry back to eat it again, sadly. Lovely place and gardens. £2.50 to park there”

“We had a very enjoyable meal at this cafe last week. Our table was for 10 people and the booking was made earlier on the day, so very little advanced notice for the cafe staff. But the event was perfect, the staff were friendly and efficient and the food was excellent. Thanks to everyone at the Homestead cafe for ensuring we had a lovely family day out.”

“We came here to break up a journey home from Edinburgh and we’re so pleased we did! The area is lovely, even if you don’t walk around (we didn’t) you can drive slowly through the estate and see the cows and animals. The cafe is lovely, we were greeted by lovely staff and it’s nice and warm and comfy. The food was lovely, and everyone was very tolerant of our loud baby. While we were here we bought birthday presents from the pottery shop (well worth a look) and some bits from the farm shop which is also very good quality. A really great experience all round!”
