  “We came for a brunch Saturday 22nd August as we were seeing Becky Hill in castle park. The slug and lettuce was packed, the staff were working hard to keep everyone’s drinks topped up and food delivered. They all worked so hard with a caring attitude. I didn’t catch our servers name but she was great! Well done everyone.”

  “Food banging!!! Service a little slow but we spoke to the workers who had a a hell of a shift low staff (not their fault) under pressure from the concert (not their fault) not 1 staff stopped the whole time we were here! Big shoutout to both Connor and Gloria - Connor accommodating us perfectly and Gloria serving us our bottomless brunch as promptly as can be!!! Can not speak more highly of then both (and the rest…. Cocktail guy behind the bar with long hair did not stop making drinks!!!) Shelby helped me when a side didn’t come out. These 3 people amazing. Credit to the company. Thank you!”

  “I had such a lovely brunch at slug & lettuce colchester. staff were amazing, down to earth and attentive.Three of us had the chicken fajita pasta which was also really good. I would 100% recommend!! thank you Connor, Doug, and Shaye you were all lovely!!”

  “The staff serving us were amazing, thanks so much Sofi and Doug for looking after us. We went for a bottomless brunch on the 23rd May 2026 for a friend's birthday and they were super attentive, drinks were flowing regularly and made the experience special. My food wasn't great, I ordered the pancakes which were the pre made ones you get in supermarkets along with frozen hash browns and a ton of bacon on top, not very tasty. My friends had better experiences with their food choices.”

  “The staff especially Misty and Connor were very lovely and came around regularly making sure that we had drinks topped up and that everything was okay with our food. The food was delicious. I ordered American pancakes and the bacon was crispy. Everything was lovely. Misty and Connor was very welcoming and were easy to talk to and my fantastic servers so were the rest of the staff”

  “Rhys at the Slug & Lettuce Oxford was an absolute breath of fresh air. From the moment we arrived, he brought such a positive energy to the table. Nothing was too much trouble and he made sure everything ran smoothly throughout our visit. A true legend of the game. Rhys is a real credit to the team. We’ll definitely be back!”

  “Fab service. Dani was our main server, she was very friendly and very helpful with the group. We also had Andrea who was helpful and very polite. They were very efficient and kept us informed of how long we had left and check we were all happy. The food was lovely hot and fresh.”

  “Shelby our server today was so lovely and hard working. She was here there and everywhere yet she still maintain a welcoming atmosphere. She also was very kind and helpful so a disabled customer. When ever he needed to pay she made sure she counted the money in front of him and clearly. Food was nice especially my fiance chicken burger 🍔 😋. Would recommend.”
