  “Lovely place to be , your orders are 99% the way you want it no mix up in orders . They are flexible in making your orders e.g more spicy 🔥, no onions , extra veggies, extra dry and what surprises me is that it's no additional charges. They also give blue light card holders discounts once you can show proof. You got paid car parks besides and behide the shop. It's strictly take away!”

  “Not great - has a fab location but food is meh and service is meh and prices are shocking. I will be sticking to Shrub End Chinese takeaway which tastes 10x better and is almost half the price! I will not be returning.”

  “It was my first time ordered Chinese from oriental house last night, first of all thank you for the great customer service from the front of house. She gave comfortable, clear and polite manner to us. Ordered an crispy chilli beef come in large potion, can’t finished for two and the chicken satay mains is authentic. reasonable price and highly recommended Chinese take away in Colchester!!!”

  “Be very careful buying from here. We have bought on several occasions and been happy with the quality of food however the last couple times the food has turned up cold. I called them up and and told them the food was cold and all the owner said was it's winter and the food goes cold in transit. She said they get cooked fresh then delivered straight to us. We are 2 mins from the restaurant and I'm sorry but they don't go from piping hot to stone cold in that time. It's obvious the driver had other deliveries and that's why. To top it off there was a hair in my partner's food. The lady kept saying what do you want us to do and I said refund or replacement but she said they don't give refunds and had no intention of sending us any more food. She did say she would refund us for the chips on next order and I said there was absolutely no way we would buy from them again with what we had just received and her "don't care" attitude. There are so many other places wanting your trade so that's fine with us. If I could score this 0 star I would.”

  “Food tastes amazing! Customer service was great, delivery was cheap and the food came piping hot. Set menu portions was good portion size and good value. Feel bad that I didn't tip the driver, he was very nice and I'll be sure to do so on my next order.”
