  “Tell you what pal, but this place is a little corker, as some may say a hidden gem located somewhere inbetween shepshed and coalville. I can imagine in summer months the place will be heaving with folk, as they also had a lovely little seating area outside. Dogs, muddy bikers, and walkers are all welcome and i tell you what but we didnt book but i would definitely reccommend it as the place gets very busy even at weekends! I went with the sunday roast cob which was a beaut and came with roasties, green beans and gravy, served between 12 & 2! The cakes are also devine and there are some right slabs available to eat in or take away and the little gift shop next door is deffo worth a little look. Keep up the good work abbey grangers 👏”

  “November 2025 Brilliant cafe with very attentive and quick service with lovely home made food and good choice on the menue. There's also a lovely gift shop. The cafe does get busy so take care. There's plenty of outside room undercover. A very quaint cafe with lots of pictures and various items displayed. Plenty of parking. Make sure you visit the Abbey while you're there. It's well worth going inside to marvel at the architecture. There's also a small hill with easy steps giving a good view of the Abbey and surroundings. The Abbey also sell their own Trappist Ale, Tynt Meadow, Abbey honey, and a sellection hand made pottery.”
