  “Not sure how everything else on the menu is better than their pizza, despite being a pizza place... I always order, hoping it'll be better but alas it never hits. The base is always soggy and bland, the cheese is like rubber and WAY too much; its just wet dough with a kilo of cheese on top. So so bland and boring... Everything else is amazing though! Good delivery times and customer service, but sad pizza :(”

  “Hands down the best authentic pizza in town. Tastes perfect every time. I have had friends from London visit and I order from here and they rave about it. I had pizza in Italy and this is pretty damn close to it. Keep it up. You just cannot be beaten on price flavour and quality”

  “We ordered a pizza for delivery, it arrived all squished in the box, rang them up, they sent out another pizza with complementary garlic bread. Pizza and bread were delicious, issue was resolved swiftly, would definitely get pizza from here again and would recommend.”

  “I have used this company for many years used to be great pizza. Last time i ordered the food was under cooked barely cooked so i called and did not get a good response initially i was refused refund or replacement they then sent 2 new pizzas that were so over cooked to the point of burnt. Its been a few months and last night i tried them again on delivery pizzas looked lovely BUT so bland dont know if they are using cheaper toppings. Sorry Family pizza but you wont be getting any more of my custom.”

  “Had a lot of Pizza's in my time!! & know a decent Pizza when I taste one!! .... I had a Thin Crust 12" Meat Feast also with a Garlic Pizza. I had never given this place a go until today. To be honest, although the Pizza was okay , it tasted very bland! It did not have much flavor & needed much more taste in the product!! I thought the cheese, sauces, meatballs, were bland & pizza needed much more Tomato sauce for the the base than the chef added at prep, after watching the young man prepare the Pizza, I see that more care could of been taken in the prep!! The Garlic bread just tasted of toasted pizza base, only a bit of cheese was added to the base & I could not taste other than just a hint of garlic when I got home, but the bases for both the Pizza & Garlic bread were cooked great. Both of them just needed a bit more flavor. Again this is just my own (personal) opinion, I will say it was still worth what I payed for the meal.... So please don't let this review put people off from going there, the takeaway was very clean & tidy. Maybe I just went at the wrong time.”

  “Family Pizza has the best pizza In Clacton! Always 5 stars! Great value ! Fresh tasty toppings ! Love the pizza base , I always buy the deep pan. Friendly and Fast delivery service, I have always been happy with the food, We would usually buy one of the deals until a couple of times the chips were rock hard so we stopped ordering the chips but the pizza was always awesome, until tonight we ordered deep pan but it must of been thin crust we received ? it was like cardboard the crust was nearly burnt and hard the cheese and base was cold and really rubbery. For the first time I was very disappointed, I am hoping they were extremely busy or something?”
