  “We had a meal mid afternoon great choice of starters mains and desserts, good choice of beverages. Staff were friendly and accommodating, my father in law used his mobility scooter and had plenty of room to get to the table . Our server Helen was very nice and attentive. Definitely be back.”

  “We absolutely love Charnellies in Clacton! The food and atmosphere are lovely, but what really makes this place special is the staff. Everyone is so welcoming, friendly and attentive, and a special mention has to go to Helen, who is just wonderful! ❤️ She always goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and makes every visit that little bit more special. It’s so lovely to visit somewhere where the staff genuinely care about their customers and make you feel comfortable and valued - the food is fantastic too with lots of yummy options😋 We always enjoy our visits and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Charnellies to anyone. Thank you to the whole team for always making us feel so welcome. We look forward to coming back again soon! 🥰”

  “WOW ….. I’ve lived in Clacton many years now and never ventured in today I did along with my big family and was welcomed with a smile . They put together a big table for us and the service was outstanding ,from being shown to our table to us leaving the door nothing but politeness . The food was amazing full of flavour ,cooked fresh and presented so temptingly that our platters were near enough empty on return . Thank you for a lovely visit ,we will be back soon I’m sure”

  “Had a 50th surprise birthday party. From the day of booking to the Day of the party was fantastic, Lisa was brilliant very helpful in every way. We all had a fantastic night the surprise went well. We went for a hot buffet with extras. The food was amazing. Plenty of it presentation was fantastic. We danced and drunk the night away. The staff were amazing. Thank you so much for amazing evening. Highly recommend if you ever want to enjoy a good evening with great atmosphere. 😁”

  “Every time I come to Charnallies it’s always top notch. Every single staff tries to make the time you have enjoyable. From the front of house, bar staff and the kitchen. Great service and great food! 10/10 always recommend!”
