  “A true gem on the map of Chippenham! ​If you are looking for a place where coffee is treated like an art form, Coffee Gems in Chippenham is an absolute must-visit. Right from the entrance, the elegant forest green storefront with gold lettering catches your eye, perfectly setting the stage for the experience inside (it looks just as atmospheric as in my attached photo. ​As for the most important part—the coffee—it exceeded my highest expectations. I ordered a brew prepared via the AeroPress, and it was simply poetry in a cup. Incredibly well-balanced, rich in deep aromas, and crafted with the artisanal precision you would expect from true Artisan Roasters. It is clear that the people working here genuinely know their craft and pour their hearts into every brew. ​To accompany the exquisite coffee, I treated myself to some pastries, which turned out to be an excellent choice. Fresh, delicious, and a perfect match for manual brewing methods. ​In summary: A wonderfully welcoming atmosphere, professional service, and the kind of quality that makes you want to keep coming back. I wholeheartedly give it 5/5 and highly recommend it to any coffee lover visiting Chippenham! ☕✨”

  “A really lovely coffee experience. Ricardo was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. So interesting to hear about his first hand experience on his grandparent’s coffee estate in Colombia - right through to his work today sourcing and roasting the finest coffee. We take our coffee for granted these days, so it was really interesting to hear about how things have developed over the years, and what goes on in order for us to have such a wonderful selection of coffees today. A very relaxed atmosphere, learning about and making coffee from different regions and using four very different methods. Each coffee accompanied by a wonderful sweet or savoury bite too. There’s no snobbishness here, it’s about discovering the coffee you like - and enjoying the process of making it. So pleased to have discovered Coffee Gems too, a true local hidden gem. I’ll definitely be back to stock up on Ricardo’s meticulously curated coffees.”

  “The Coffee Sensations experience was excellent! Very informative and Ricardo was so welcoming and is clearly an expert in his field. Tried four different types of preparing coffee drinks, with a history of each. Would definitely recommend for coffee lovers!”

  “We have taken part in a coffee tasting experience with Ricardo. Ricardo was very happy to tailor the process to ensure we got the most from the day. We spent some time discussing the evolution of coffee farming and learning how different tasting coffees are produced. He was very knowledgeable and was able to show us different processes used in different coffee farms around the world due to his recent visits. We then got to try a few different varieties and I was surprised at the noticeable differences in the coffees he gave us, one even tasted like a tea. My husband expressed an interest in purchasing an espresso machine and so Ricardo provided us with a lesson on using it and how to get the best taste from the coffee beans. Overall this was a lot of fun and very insightful experience that I would recommend to anyone with an interest in coffee or in trying new experiences.”
