  “The food was nice but found the staff quite rude, felt like they was watching us eat and when we wanted to order more seemed like they didn’t want us to and didn’t like it when we left some on our plate and ordered more her response was we don’t leave food. Felt like they kept watching us to just didn’t like the atmosphere here.”

  “We’ve been eating at China Dragon, regularly, for several years and have never had anything but excellent food and exceptional service. We visited, again, today with our two friends and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The young man in attendance was, as always, very attentive, professional and welcoming. Our food was served quickly and was of the highest standard. China Dragon offers a fabulous selection of well cooked & presented food at a very reasonable price. We’ll be back again soon. Recommended to all.”

  “My only negative is the distance I travel to visit this restaurant, I drive forty minutes on a clear run but it’s not the first time and definitely won’t be the last but it does limit me to special occasions. On my latest visit we was a party of four and we all agreed every dish was cooked and seasoned to perfection, the crispy chilli beef and chicken are the best I’ve had also the salt and pepper chicken. The staff never stop back and forth and are very friendly, my favourite food served at its very best.”

  “Only buffet options.No à la carte menu.Staff friendly but constantly interrupting our evening to ask what other dishes we want, as they all come in little portions. So not a pleasant experience. Also chairs old and tatty, and uncomfortable. Will not return.”

  “Made to feel rushed to eat, asking for more food and made to feel judged by the female servers as if we’re ordering too much but the portions were tiny that came out, 100s of plates on the table but hardly any food. Weird set up. When speaking to female staff and asking normal questions get given a weird judgemental look by female staff. Spoke to other customers very friendly but for some reason chose to not take a liking to me and came across cold and fake. When a female staff member was taking our order down she didn’t communicate with us how she wanted to go around the table and take everyone’s order, you could see she was getting visibly annoyed with us but somehow expects us to mind read that we know exactly how she takes everyone’s order. The chow mein noodles are the really thin ones, they were dry and tiny bits of chicken is added separately to the noodles and it’s so white you can tell it’s just added in after and not cooked with it. Ribs were very fatty. One of our group was ill in the night of and was sat on the loo all night. It was not the best experience and left over all a bit disappointed. Not the most approachable staff.”

  “What a find this restaurant is, it is hands down the best Chinese Restaurant food we have ever had, the portion sizes are absolutely perfect as it allows you to try lots of different dishes off the menu, and it’s a really extensive menu too. The staff are super friendly prompt with service and removal of the empty plates. It is an all you can eat restaurant, but not your typical hot buffet type as everything is cooked to order and makes it all nice and fresh. And at £20 per head it is super value. We will be revisiting here very soon to give us our Chinese fix 😍”

  “I attended this restaurant last week while visiting family from Australia. Out of the 14 people who attended 9 of us were sick within 48 hours of eating. The whole evening felt rushed, abrupt and a general pushy service was provided throughout and it was in no way welcoming. I would advise choosing another restaurant where you pay for want and get a reasonable sized portion with a pleasant service.”

  “We had our first takeaway from here tonight for 9 people. The food was lovely. Phoning the order through was great because the person at the other end of the phone was knowledgeable and we could understand each other well. The delivery was quicker than expected and the driver was friendly. We will definitely order again”

  “Been coming here for past few years with my partner, food is always spot on and comes out hot, they do a good selection of starters and mains and also some vegetarian options. Staff usually serve you quickly and there doesn’t really seem to be a limit of how much you can order at once. You also get prawns crackers brought out to you as soon as you sit down. All I would say is I’d like to see a few new options and change of menu from time to time as the only seafood they offer currently is king prawns, they used to do mussels but no longer serve them, would be great if they could do some salt and pepper squid, as well as meat wantons and spring rolls as they only do vegetarian. I recommend their chicken/beef Chinese curry, tea smoked chicken, salt and pepper prawns, salt and pepper wings and beef in black bean dishes. Yummy.”

  “Called in last night for a mid week treat and we were not dissapointed. Just the two of us arrived around 7pm without a booking. They were pretty busy but after 5 minutes sat in the bar our table was ready. Probably worth booking next time to be sure. All the staff were lovely and friendly and the food was gorgeous. I couldn't get over how quickly the food was coming out, all freshly cooked and piping hot. I liked the Salt & Pepper wings especially, crispy and spicy. The portion sizes are small, but in a GOOD way, because you can pace yourself and get a good variety of dishes in. I wanted to take more pictures but I got too into the eating! Will definitely be going back!”
