  “Not sure if this Chinese has changed owners but first takeaway from here in about 7 months.. within 1hr of eating the food, my partner and I had the worst stomach ache and then came the sick and diarrhoea. Would not order again nor recommend.”

  “Foods gone down hill ordered salt and pepper boxes a few times and there well over done chips taste like theyve been done in dirty oil. Deliveries have turned up and incorrect items on more 2 occasions.”

  “Normally fully recommend this place always been so nice and fresh, but tonight absolutely vile! Paid £52.50 and there was only the noodles and prawn crackers any good. The lemon chicken had funny smell when I opened thought it may just be the pineapple in it or summit tasted it had the same funny taste. The chips both portions were cold and had already been reheated literally like chips you eat the next day. The house special fried rice was as dry as sticks and the few bits of meat we got in it were chewy as. The curry sauce was frozen, the mixed hors d'oeuvres were the same as the chips prawn toast was dead fishy (I get it's prawns but you know when fish is like off?) but all cold and dry. Bar the spring rolls as they were just soggy and floppy. Chicken balls didn't taste like they were cooked properly as when you bite into them it was still like rubber not just teeth straight through feeling so that was weird too. So yeah for the first time whole order shite! Really really disappointed in this and especially for the price! We had ordered this for my daughters birthday as all of us have been left disappointed and my son literally did spit the chicken ball out and spewed so probably ill of it too not worth the hype at all!”

  “Up there with one the worst chinese takaway we've had, no one could eat any of it, it all went in the bin, chicken rice was wet and had egg shells in it, the noodles were definitely microwaved and smelling funky, 3 people 3 meals went in bin, unfortunately i wouldn't recommend....”

  “Hadn’t had a Chinese in forever so decided to get from this one which is where i’ve gotten from frequently in the past. I don't know whats happened in the time I haven't ordered from here but the quality tonight was absolutely shocking. The chips were stale like they had been left out overnight and eating the ribs was an absolute chore, felt like I was eating a god damn tea towel they were so overcooked. The portion size for the sauce has also been reduced to a tiny little pot which is pitiful for the price I paid. I should have been paid to eat that never mind paying them. New Red Lantern, sort your shit out or you'll lose a customer…”
