  “I recently visited Chennai Dosa Restaurant in Chelmsford and had the Veg Noodles and Ghee Masala Dosa. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and full of flavour. The dosa was perfectly crispy with a rich ghee aroma, and the veg noodles were fresh and very tasty. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Chelmsford for authentic Indian food. Highly recommended—it's a must-try!”

  “I had South Indian thali.. it was really amazing and staff were very friendly. I had refill of rice and curries too. Papada was one of the best. Really reminded me home. All this for only GBP 8.99”

  “Enjoyed a lovely meal at Chennai Dosa. The dosa was fresh and crispy, the fried rice was flavourful, and the pistachio kulfi was the perfect dessert to finish the meal. Friendly service, pleasant atmosphere, and authentic taste throughout. Highly recommended! 😊”

  “Absolutely authentic flavors! I stopped by for the Indian Thali and Mutton Dum Biryani, and both were spot on. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the thali gave me a great taste of everything. Excellent, welcoming service and a cozy atmosphere right on New Street. Highly recommended!”

  “It felt like home and it was very nice being in here. It was just a home away from My birthplace I would say that the mouth freshener that has been put on the table is really amazing and dosas are the only thing that I have tried, but I can surely approve of their other food items as well they can’t go wrong. Loved it.”

  “In all honesty, my recent visit to Chennai Dosa in Chelmsford was such a disappointing experience that I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this restaurant to anyone. From the lackluster ambiance to the sluggish service and, most notably, the subpar quality of the so-called "Kerala Style" dishes, it was an overall regrettable affair. The attempt to replicate the authentic flavors of Kerala cuisine fell flat, and the result was a stark departure from the genuine taste I was hoping for. The quality of ingredients was below par, and it was apparent that corners were cut in the preparation process. Given my deep connection to Kerala's culinary traditions, witnessing such a misrepresentation was disheartening. Beyond the disappointing food, the indifferent service and high prices only added to the overall sense of dissatisfaction. Save yourself the trouble and explore other dining options in the area that genuinely value customer satisfaction and deliver on the promises of authentic cuisine. Chennai Dosa in Chelmsford, unfortunately, falls far short of providing a dining experience worth recommending.”
