Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the chicken pad thai and egg fried rice, with the owner's cooking described as fresh, full of flavour and like being transported to Thailand. Close behind are the Panang curry, described as delicious, and Pad Kra Pao, which one first-timer would order again, along with pancake rolls. The owner draws nearly as much praise as the food, with reviewers calling her friendly, welcoming and caring, and one describing a visit like seeing a distant family member. Several mention staff who are polite and quick, and value comes up repeatedly, with portions called good value and one diner noting a starter, main and drink cost under ten pounds. Takeaway regulars say the quality has stayed consistent across years of orders. No recurring complaints appear. One reviewer says the staff gave a sample to help decide what to order, and another calls her a true Thai chef from North-East Thailand.

“We've been ordering takeaways from Pat's Taste of Thailand for the past four years, and this is our first time leaving a review. The food quality has been consistently outstanding every single time. Fresh, full of flavour, and always beautifully prepared. Well done to this great little restaurant – it's thoroughly deserved, and we look forward to many more delicious meals! “pat is the nicest lady around, the service is unbelievable, makes me feel like getting food is like visiting a distant family member. What a lovely lady she is and don’t even get me started on the food, the food is impeccable the taste is stupendous unlike anything i’ve ever tried before and everytime i eat anywhere else all i can think of is her delicious chicken pad thai and egg fried rice. The price is so cheap, you could get a 5 star meal with pennies you’ve collected on the floor, what an incredible cook she is and an even better chef, 5 star 10/10, the highlight of carmarthen as a town.”
